I've successfully run my M2 with AA 7/8oz extra light loads. All I've done internally is a little polishing on the bolt carrier. Its still stock weight. Maybe I just got a lucky one from the factory. However, I still run a heavier load most of the time to be more sure of knocking steel down.

I've been shooting a 26" M2 for a few years now and like it enough that I bought a 26" Supernova last year. Both have a mag tube thats at least as long as the barrel, so not much reason to not have the longer barrel.

I switched over from Nike Landshark football cleats to Mizuno turf shoes. They are much lighter than the Nike's, and aren't very pricey at all. Great traction on all surfaces. http://www.eastbay.com/product/model:168806/sku:14039000/mizuno-9-spike-blast-3-mid-mens/black/white/?cm=GLOBAL%20SEARCH%3A%20KEYWORD%20SEARCH

Very nice! How many rounds through it? The only reason I ask, is most of the big gun builders don't go completely through the slide like that on a hybrid barrel. My thinking is they're worried about longevity considering there's not alot of meat left between the rib cut and the slide lighting cuts.
What's your slide weight like that (with the sight, extractor and fp stop)?
I've got about 7,000 rounds through it. Not sure of the weight.

I think you missed my point. Due to the fact that you can't do much if any additional slide lightening on a hybrid slide, I don't believe you can get a hybrid much lighter if any, then I well lightened standard slide.
You can still lighten a sight tracker slide. Here's a pic of mine:
-
The sight tracker barrel transfers weight from a reciprocating part (slide) to a non reciprocating part (barrel). I've got a Cameron's 5" .40 sight tracker and now looking to have them build another but in 9 just for 3 gun since I like it so much.

I recently finished building an upper with a heavy 18" Criterion. Haven't done much testing with it yet, but did run my Hornady 75gr bthp load through it. 10 shots was about .9" at 100 yards, which is a touch better than my 18" Noveske, though I didn't calculate a mean radius. I'd expect their other offerings to be capable of just as much accuracy.

I have a Titan on my 308 AR that I built. I love the recoil impulse, it is so easy to shoot fast doubles with confidence.

Last month I was shopping for a new barrel while assembling a new upper (settled on an 18" criterion). I found many reviews of barrels with people listing their group sizes, typically just the size of the group in inches or moa.
It got me the thinking, what was frequently lacking in the reviews was the discussion of the number of rounds in the group, or if listed, often times just a three shot group. It seems like 5 shot groups don't tell as complete a picture either.
I've been using 10 shot groups as my standard when testing loads after development through the ocw process, and it seems to weed out anomalies and produce a more realistic expectation of the barrel and load combination.
Another useful tool I've found is finding the mean radius as opposed to just the overall group size, since the mean radius will provide a number that accounts for all shots within a group, not just the two shots farthest from each other (extreme spread).
Thoughts?

Measured my Barnes Ultralite rail- outer width (not diameter, since it has flats for rails to be attached) is 1.57".

I also just received a new Bladetech WRS. For the past few years I've been using a standard Bladetech with finger adjustable knobs, and even torqued down I was nervous the pistol could jump out when I really start sprinting. Definitely don't need to worry about it with the WRS.

I haven't noticed any benefit to separating the brass. Also, developing a resilient load can help minimize differences in pressure by way of case volume. See http://optimalchargeweight.embarqspace.com/

I notice that it talks about what you can wear but nothing about what you cannot wear.Rule 5.3.1 The use of offensive or objectionable garments is not allowed. The Match Director will have final authority in respect of what garments competitors are allowed to wear.
Rule also doesn't state what garments you must wear. What if the shooter was wearing a see through shirt, fishnet or otherwise lacey? Great, now I have an image of that shooter wearing fishnetting.

JP covers the 110 vmax in his loading info document. Take a look on page 23-24. He states: "I load the 110 Vmax with 47.5 grains of H335 in a Federal case with a Federal 210M primer to
an AOL of 2.750"http://www.jprifles.com/document_pdfs/Loading%20recommendation_560.pdf

Are you sure your Syrac gas block is seated correctly?
I know you stated that you checked gas port alignment, but just to be sure here's a document from JP covering the Syrac block since it was designed to be seated on rifles with GI style handguards/rails. If the block is up against the shoulder of the barrel without the handguard ring then the block will be off just a bit. Had it happen on a 308 AR I built and gave me fits until I figured out that was the cause.

I'm new to the Savannah area. When is your next 3 gun match?
-
I was the timer RO on stage 7. Definitely got plenty of PT in on that stage! Thanks to Andy and Mike for putting on a great match and giving me the opportunity to work the match, and to the competitors for coming out and having fun even with the heat and humidity.
I'm uploading my videos here: http://www.youtube.com/user/rboyes

I know a guy who had to grow a brain tumor and have it removed just to get enough pity from Denise to get on last year's RO squad.
It was worth it.

The Sm1 in mil?
Yes, the SM1 is a mil based reticle in half mil increments.
-
Put it back together, practice with it, and shoot a match or two before you take more off. You may find you like where its at, or maybe you'll notice you want to remove more material from one place specifically. Its about what works for you and your gun, not what everyone else thinks.
-
I have a Kahles K16i as well. I went with the SM1 reticle since I felt it would be faster up close. So far I've used it in two matches, and its been awesome. It replaced a USO 1-4 w/ Lund reticle which I loved but the Kahles beats it in every way. The reticle brightness and glass quality are definitely Swaro level, and its listed as having a touch more FOV, particularly on 1x. I haven't had a chance to shoot past 200 yards with it yet, and have used it in 2 matches so far. I'm very happy with it.
Here's a picture that Sport Optics took for me when I was choosing which reticle I wanted (note- illumination not at highest setting):

I haven't had any issues with Lancer mags in my ITW Fastmag pouches.

Load two is easier to learn for most people. Best bet is to find some local shooters and try each type out before you drop the cash. Load two doesn't necessarily offer a time advantage. Both techniques can be very fast, but weak hand takes more time to develop.

So I am counting 4 HM?

Wish I could but I doubt it. The match is shortly after I'll be taking command so I will be plenty busy at work.
Why is match fee so expensive
in Multi-gun Rules / Stage Design / Match Administration

Why are the fees so high? Because people are willing to pay them, and for good reason. If match directors didn't offer a good product then we wouldn't see the attendance levels continue to grow at such a high rate.
And as has been said before, RO. You get to shoot for free (and typically get housed and meals too), meet tons of shooters, and usually have a chance at an RO prize table.
