Are the mag small pistol as sensitive as the standard?

I remember buying some MFS 9mm years ago and had the same issues. I suspect they use the same primers. I don’t think is a seating depth issue, I just think they are hard primers.

You know of other people having problems with them?

Today I used my Glock 19 with 100% stock factory stock parts. I can’t really blame anything but the primers at this point. The 19 and P226 have been 100% reliably with any other primer I have used.

I shot the loads off this morning and had 4 misfires and only two of then fired on the second strike. At this point I think its safe to say that its not the seating depth that’s the problem. Looks like I get some Eastern European hard primers. I don’t know what I’m going to do with them. Maybe use them I a rifle load? Even then I don’t load that much for my rifles and it would take me a long time to use them up.

I got out my old Lee ram prime and primed 100 cases and then loaded them on the Hornady AP. I checked each one after priming to make sure they all were seated correctly. Hopefully they will fire and then I will need find some way to make sure they seat properly on the Hornady.

Maybe, but I haven’t had any problems with any other primer loaded on my Hornady AP. I’m going to load another batch making sure I’m seating them properly and see what happens. Maybe I will try priming some separately with my Lee hand primer. I hope it’s a simple issue like that.

I just tried 50 rounds out of my Sig 226 with the same results, several misfires. Some taking up to three strikes to fire. At this point I guess I'm just stuck with 4800 primers I cant use.

I loaded up 100 9mm loads using the primers and had 5 light primer strikes out of the first mag in my Glock 19. I’m going to try them in a hammer fired gun when I get a chance. I’m also going to see if I can seat them a little deeper and see if that helps.

dmshozer1, I was on your squad and remember you getting DQ. You had one foot in the box and one in the air. We all felt a match DQ was a bit much for that. A procedural sure, a stage DQ at the most. For the most part I thought the stage designs where pretty good and challenging. However the round counts where much less than first advertised. Match addmin on the other hand was poor. It was run more like a local match then a national. Just looking at the match schedule the night before it seemed obvious to me and my friends that it was going to be backed up. When we showed up for our first stage Friday afternoon we were delayed by and hour and a half. By the time we got to our third stage it was over two hours behind. We had to shoot our fourth stage the next day. Saturday morning went much better. We were asked come in two hours early on Sunday to beat the weather but when we got there it was running about an hour behind. I really like shooting 2 gun and hope it grows and gets better. Hopefully next year they have more sponsors and the match runs better.

I just installed it with a crush washer, that’s all I had, and it and it seems to work fine. No bullet strikes. This thing is loud and the blast comes straight back to the shooter. It also seems to be very effective.

I just noticed that you are not supposed to use a crush washer with it. Has anyone installed one with a crush washer? I wanted to get it on before this weekend’s 2 gun match.

Mine will be in tomorrow. It will be interesting to compare it with the “Amazon” brake I bought after the last test. BTW the Mi/LE price from Precision $71 and change.

BTW, at the last 2 gun match at Peacemaker the question was asked about hot reholstering. The owner said there will not be any hot reholstering at Nationals.

I have found that plated bullets seat better with a larger bell than jacketed. This video may help.

I don’t know if that’s true or not but according to their website there are only 94 shooters registered.

I decided to go with 4gr of TG because I was having some feeding issues with 3.5 and 180gr in my G22 and G35. Although it not as soft as the 180gr load, its still pretty mild and I’m hopping it will knock down poppers with a little more authority in my 2 gun matches.

My IR skyscreens came in yesterday and this morning I tried them out, worked perfectly with all of the florescent lights on.

Looking to make minor. I think I will start at 4.0 grains. Anyone try this combination? I also have some 700X I could try but mostly titegroup.

I just got off the phone with Pact and they said that florescent lights will have no effect on infrared skyscreens. In fact the one they use in their shop is under florescent lights.
