Unis genix 5.56 primers, thought they were sending the regular srp. My 2011 open gun runs them, Glock 34 and 17 with 3lb triggers, barely dent them. Using them for open and my pcc which is piercing my federal spm.

I am using two different loads of HS-6 in two different open guns. The with poppel holes I use 125 gr JHP with 8.5 gr of HS-6. The gun with out holes I use my 8.1 gr of HS-6.
I talked to two different open gun Gurus from two different ares before getting in to open, and they both had the same opinion that HS-6 has an easier pressure spike and is less likely to do damage to the guns. One had over 75,000 rounds with no crack to the slide and the other had almost 125,000 with no crack to the slide. They both also said the same thing about auto comp, that it has less felt recoil but has a sharper pressure spike, and most cracked slides they saw were when using it.
I'd be interested in your experience running the 8.5 load in the gun without the poppel holes. I'm running that in my STI GM with a Thundercomp 2 - no poppels. Thinking was with the extra holes in the comp I'd need more gas... Thoughts?

Ever to be offred for sale to the unwashed mid-level masses again? Or are we sentenced to Precision Delta for life?

9mm tends to be more accurate with higher velocity

Used dry hands but now a stainless grip there is no need

Hey all,
I was looking for more H335 but then Natchez offered no hazmat so I picked up 4 lbs of SW Tactical Rifle. Looks like its in between AA2230 and H335. Goin with 24.5 and there about to find best accuracy with Hornady 55g FMJs. I've done a bunch or searches (here and the stupidnet) for people's experiences. Looks like Match, AR Plus, and Tactical have swapped around a little. It shows .223 max at 24.5 - close to my H335 load of 25 but then shows .556 up to 27 so lots of headroom.

Just bought 4lbs of Tactical Rifle, never used it before, thinking its close to AA2230.

might be cranking it up so you dont go minor

400s never a problem, they leave a dimple on the last round in but never a slam fire

Hmm that one looks very interesting. Not sure if it would be as effective as the popular 3 gun brakes (ports look relatively small) but the modular design is impressive.
mine is with a carbine gas system and adjustable block - shoots pretty flat and tame. Great fireballs with H335.

CMC, rise armament 140, and Aim Surplus SSTAT (rise 140) all work great for me in AR and PCC
-
my son has one on his AR and I bought the Aim Surplus $89.00 for my PCC on sale (140 made by rise) - 3.5 lb break and work great. I'm not sophisticated enough to appreciate a 200+ trigger

UM Tactical breaks works great and adjustable, expensive, but I won it at a prize table.

I think saying spending more money gets you more/better quality is misguidance. I've seen off the shelf run trouble free for years and expensive high-end guns go in the shop over and over. Enos is a great resource for feedback, just watch the fanboys reinforcing their purchasing decisions. You can get a decent used open gun - I have a Grandmaster from the custom shop, send it to a quality gunsmith (deep river) for a once over and tune and be perfectly happy. Gun is 100%, me well 75% LOL.
