  1. Thanks, I'm sure the rest of my team will give me grief... Pinkerton OUT!
  2. Hi Please try to keep the laughter to a minimum, A friend gave me a whole bucket full of brass that looks like it was left over from the mid 80's. I think it must have been left on the range since then. It's brown. Even after a few hours in corn cob with Dillon polish its still mostly brown. My questions are: 1 is this brass no good or just ugly? 2 If it's bad why? Orther than color it looks to be OK. 3 if it's Ok how do I clean it up? Straight Walnut? Thanks, Pinkerton OUT!
  3. Hi, How, with out drilling them out, do I remve the dimples on the inside of the magazine tube on a 870? I thought a deep socket would pound them out but a 16mm is too small and a 17mm is too big. Any ideas? Am I missing something really easy? Thanks Pinkerton OUT!
  4. Switching from 10 to 10 short (40) I can see where you wouldn't see the time savings. When switching out the plate any way the seperate primer system saves a little time. IMHO it is helpful. Pinkerton OUT!
  5. Thanks! With the stainless rod is there a problem with "banging" the lands? This was the criticism I got for using the one piece brass rod. Thnaks for the great help, as usual!! Pinkerton OUT!
  6. Hi, I'm just getting into three gun and was wondeing which Bore guide and Rods are recommended? I was thinking the CJ Weapons because it locks into the locking lugs but I've never used one of these before. I've always used brass cleaning rods but I think a graphite rod would be better for the bore. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Pinkerton OUT!
  7. Nothing like that. Just the two plugs above the bench and then straight to the breaker. I guess it was just time. I'm still sold on Dillon though!! Thanks, Pinkerton OUT!
  8. Thanks, The vents had dust and the plug is dedicated to the bench. So I think I'm OK there but I'll keep an eye on running the tumbler, trimmer and case feeder at the same time. Pinkerton OUT!
  9. It's had alot of use but is this usual? I ordered a new motor but I hope then next one lasts longer! Pinkerton OUT!
  10. Steve, If you reload in volume I highly recomend the parts kit. It buys time until the snail mail gets there. My parts always break on my one day with no kids, no work and no honey do list... Pinkerton OUT!
  11. I've got you beat! I had three go in two weeks. I think the first went because of fatigue(three years) The second just crumbled like yours. The third was broken apart by something the chute. Something????? caught it and then it tore the slide cam assembly to pieces. I got new ones from Dillon. Loaded 1300 223. Everything seems OK now. I think I would just get new ones form Dillon. It seems that there was a bad batch (the crumbeling ones) Pinkerton OUT!
  12. Thanks! I'll start there I have some Reloader 15 and some Varget. Pinkerton OUT!
  13. Hi, I'm looking for a good load for a 16" 1 in 8 twist for three gun (300 yard absolute max distance) I've been using H322 for blasting ammo in my M-16. Thanks, Pinkerton OUT
