  1. I primarily shoot 3Gun. With the rise of the 3Gun Nation Tour, IMGA rules (and Horner rules) are now King in 3Gun and Multigun. USPSA's MultiGun rules are so far out of the mainstream for most 3Gunners.....it almost doesn't make sense to shoot USPSA Multigun matches. I rarely do because I have to change the way I shoot, my ammo and the rules sub-optimizes my Open Saiga. Every match on the 3Gun Nation Tour (except USPSA MultiGun) sells out and the 3Gun events are drawing more and more shooters every day. I know IPSC and USPSA got most of us into shooting, but if the 3Gun market is moving away from USPSA rules....wouldn't it make sense for USPSA to follow the market?
  2. When the UPS guy asks to see the address on the package he just delivered to you because he isnt sure if he showed up at the house out of habit or not
  3. I have been running 3Gun for about a year now and I have gone through several different set ups. For TacIrons (now that they allow red dots), I use to run a EOTech XPS2-2 because of the second aiming dot that is right on at 450 yards for my rifle/load combo. For TacOptics, I started with a Nikon African (awesome glass) with a German #4 reticle but then switched to the JP ACOG and a set of pistol iron sights at 45 degrees. I had no problem hitting targets out to 450 yards at Fort Benning and the pistol irons are wicked fast on close range targets. Now that I am shooting the 3Gun Nation Tour in the Open Division, I shoot my JP ACOG with an Aimpoint Micro at 45 degrees. The JP ACOG has an updated BDC reticle that is set up for flat top ARs and is set for 2000 ft instead of at sea level. The JP ACOG also drops the 100 yard line and is zeroed at 200 yards. The reticle is really clean and fast on target. The Aimpoint is awesome on anything up close.
  4. I am new to the forum and do not usually respond or post much but this thread is close to my heart. I do have to agree with you, I have shot over 20 different guns and all but two of them have given me one problem or another until they were fully broken in. I got one of Matt Burkett's Predator Tactical Banshee Open guns. Wow... I now have over 1200 rounds through it without even so much as a hiccup. It is probably the best gun I have ever shot. When Matt say his gear is going to work, he is serious.
