  1. Flexmoney, that would appear to be correct. I shot this with 119 points, less my 5 point over time shot, for 114 points. Like I said, got 91.2% on the USPSA classifier data base, so the math works out.
  2. THS, you said you went to a shoot in St. Charles. My questions is St. Charles where? I have a business in St. Charles, IL. and I dont think there is any shooting around here, but I am really hoping I am wrong.
  3. I have to agree with shred on this one. I think 99-32 is the easiest I have shot, as long as you can condition yourself to not go to fast, and get good hits. Also like off balance blast, as I am still of good knees, and can move through it pretty quickly. If you can't shoot well, shoot fast and look good doing it.
  4. Erik, "That is correct sir." Yeah, the darn shot broke at 6.33, when the allowed time was 6.0. Cost me enough points to knock me out of 3rd in Lim-10 B.
  5. Shot this one up at Area 3. My best classifier ever. 91.2%. Not bad for a mid-level B class shooter I thought. That was with 5 penalty points for the shot that broke 0.03 seconds over the limit on the second string. Don't go to fast, and get your hits on this one. Of course go 0.03 faster than I did.
  6. Flexmoney, can I get you to do my taxes?
  7. That's exactly what I thought, Smoney, but this guy swore there was a .357 magnum Glock. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't loosing my mind.
  8. In the course of a discussion the other day with one of the local cops, the topic came up of a .357 magnum Glock. He said he had seen one, I said I had never heard of one being made. Anybody know of such a gun? Thanks.
  9. As any of you can tell, I am VERY new to this forum. However, it is BY FAR the best source of information I have found to date for competition shooting. If someone doesn't like it, don't let the door hit you, etc., etc. B.E.-- Just keep in mind, that is is a statistical fact that 50% of the population is of below average intelligence.
  10. First off, let me say hello to all on this forum. As you can tell, I am new and so far I REALLY like what I have seen. Great to find a place that has a focus on competition shooting, since that is my passion. So, what do I like?.....I LOVE a truely custom gun. I mean a gun that was built for me from the springs up. I was fortunate enough to have such a gun built for me last year by Les Baer. Yes, it is a single stack, which I shoot in Lim-10 (I know, disadvantage to the high cap frames, but it has a better feel to me ) and I just love it. As I am a resident of IL, and only about 80 miles from Les Baer's place, I was able to go to his shop, and go over every aspect of the gun. 16 weeks later I had the gun I had dreamed about for close to 10 years. Anyway, it is one of the things about shooting that I love, and I thought this would be an easy place to get in a first posting on the sight. Have a good 'un.
