  1. I have had great luck with Xtreme Bullets and Angela is very nice to talk with when you call. She is a shooter and offers great advice! She suggested I try different bullets for my 38 Super and sent me several different types to try. I currently have 9MM - 135 grain RNFP (38 Super), 10MM - 155 RNFP, 10MM - 180 RNFP, 45 - 230 RN. I had problems with the 10MM - 180 RNFP not grouping very well and keyholing. I called them, aware of their problem, and sent me another 1000 at no charge. The new bullets were marked "New Profile" and they shoot perfectly!
  2. Just curious G 35 & G27 are 40 S & W...Are KLMs' conversion barrels & if so, are they ported? The KKM barrels I referenced in this post are 9MM barrels and neither are ported.
  3. This information is from my Glock 35 with an aftermarket 5¼" KKM barrel: 9MM 8.4 grains Accurate Arms #7 1283 FPS (chronographed) Fed #100 primers Montana Gold 121 IFP FC cases 1.105" OAL Shooting the same load from my Glock 27 gives 1158 FPS with an aftermarket 3½" KKM barrel. This load is very accurate in my Glocks and one of my favorite loads.
  4. The only problem I've had with any of my 10MM brass was with FC brass.
  5. Montana Gold are excellent bullets and I almost shoot them exclusively. They don't charge shipping costs for home deliveries and they are quick to ship! IFP means International Full Profile and I ordered 1000 - 9MM 121 grain IFP and they are extremely accurate.
  6. I have BarSto, Jarvis, and KKM barrels. The KKM barrels are my favorite by far!!
  7. Brand new striker/firing pin with same results.
  8. I have been having problems with my G35 puncturing Federal #100 Small Pistol Primers so I shot the same loads in my S&W 610. All loads fired from my 610 showed no pressure signs and the fired primers looked great. All loads were chronographed and the velocities were very close, with the S&W generating 5 - 25 FPS higher velocities. I believe that the G35 firing pin actually punctures the Federal primers due to its shape. I haven’t had problems with other brand primers and as I’ve mentioned before, I won’t be purchasing any more Federal Small Pistol Primers.

  10. I had the same question last month when I purchased a new Colt Commander in 38 Super. The 0.355" and the 0.356" bullets both shoot fine for me as I chronograph all new loads when checking their accuracy. In reality, you are suppose to shoot the 0.356" projectile. This is what you need to do to answer your question. Use a micrometer and mike the 0.355" bullets and to your surprise, most of them will be >0.355". Most of my 0.355" bullets have measured over 0.356".
  11. Can I use standard 9MM dies to handload 38 Super ammo? I see that the shellplate, buttons and the powder funnel are the same for my 550B but the resizing die has a different number. TIA
