I know my team can't wait to see them! We particularly enjoyed the rolling-thunder stages where teamwork was required to do well. Thanks for a fun and unique match.

Fantastic match, and to make it even better, the weather was perfect. My shooting actually wasnt't quite as horrible as last time, either.

I'm seriously considering doing the same (considering the Vortex 2.5-10) for the same match. I'm not sure I can see 4" poppers out at 400, even with 4x.

That was probably the most fun I've ever had, at least without actually hitting what I was shooting at. Thanks for a great match!

I bought a couple of these to try out a few weeks ago, and am very happy with my purchase. I spent a reasonable amount of time tinkering to get the Teklock mountings exactly where I wanted them (and was tempted to get out a drill), but when I got it right, everything worked right (which the timer confirmed). I'll be running both them (and other 2-shell devices) at Colt 3 Man 3 Gun.

I really thought this was a joke, until I tried it . It actually worked pretty darn well. I've only owned a shotgun for a week or two, but after a few tries, dropped a whole second, from 8 shells in 8 seconds to 8 in 7. And this was from Pinwheels, where I had to grab twice for each set of four. I'm now really curious how I'd do with one of those fancy FSLs. I also noticed I can almost hold all 8 rounds at once in my monster hands. Is Load 8 just around the corner?

I know they're not especially popular, but side-saddles and mounting ammo on the shotgun is fine in Tactical, right?

You're probably right. I'm down to loading 8 shells in about 20 minutes. That's probably fine .

Ouch on that set screw in the back of the trigger guard!! Once it's setup to stop over travel, it does not stick out.

I now own a shotgun, so feel free to require 3 this year !

On my JM, the lifter is still razor-sharp, but it seems like the loading port is just big enough for my thumb to slip in and out without catching. On the stock 930, I literally couldn't load the gun.

That port appears larger, but not by very much at all. Still might be a problem for my fat thumbs.

Two quick questions: 1. For this match, are add-on rifle magwells legal in Tactical? One of my teammates has a bolt-on on his AR15. 2. It sounds like on Stage 3, all three shooters may start with shotguns. Is it still the case that a team uses only two shotguns per stage? Looking forward to the trip.

I notice last year, a team only needed two shotguns (but shot by all 3 teammates). Is that planned to be the case again? Planning to invest in a new shotgun or a 1-4x, but not both :-).

Congratulations on making Master in a year! My "one year" expired a few weeks ago, and am not quite there yet .
