Well i made a mistake and took of a bit of the rearsight. But even from the factory it shot 2,5 inches low. Wich is very unconviened shooting at small plates at 30 meters, i had to aim above the plate. My ammo is 124 grain berry with 4.2 VV N320, tonight i'm going to try a 145 grain plated bullet. Maybe the poi shifts? I mailed Rob from CZ and he told me that the difference between a standard factory sight and the CZ usa comp sight is that the cz usa sight is a little taller, so i hope that it compensates for the 2,5 inch to low.

What about the POI of a 147 vrs 124? would it be higher or lower?

Hi all, I am thinking of ordering one of the CZ usa competition rear sight. They are a bit higher than the factory fixed sight for the Shadow. My Shadow is still shooting 5 inches low at 25 meters. Does anyone uses these sights? No milling to the slide? best regards Patrick

Thanks for the reply, i think that rearsight is to small. There is another lpasight but then there is milling recuired. Well u guess it wil stay a mystery to me, why the gun impacts higher. Thanks for the replies

I only took some material from the rear, 4 tenths of à mm. My gunsmit did it for me. Maybe its because the notch is smaller now and i cant the gun more

Hi all, I'm still very happy with my shadow, the only thing i don't like is the fixed rear sight. In ipsc production we are not allowed to change the rear sight to an LPA. The poi is to low Now i took a little off the top of the rear sight and the poi is higher. But i cannot explain why? With a normal adjustable sight when you lower the complete sight by adjusting it the poi is lower. Anyone??

Hi all, I am wondering, would a 10 pound recoilspring damage a 9 mm shadow? i shoot a pf of 130. I don't think so, i see shooters use 11 pound recoilsprings for their major .40 On the other side, does it make a lot of difference 11 or 10 pound, recoilwise. Will try the 10 pound tommorow for relaibility

Ok, i orderd a 5,5 and a 6 front sight. But my shots are already low on paper so i think that with the 6 mm the point of impact is even lower.

Yes me too but i think we are realy complicating things for ourselfs. Burningsquirrels is right, one sight picture, one point of aim, one point of impact. Will change to that. Thanks again

Last week i've been shooting the World Shoot in Rhodes. Lot's of difficult shots and very bright sunlight, i've been shooting my shadow now for 7 weeks. What i noticed was that my shots on paper are low and the shots on steel are often to high. I guess there is a different point of inpact when you aim with the FO then when you are using the outlines of the sights. At some point i was putting the FO al little above the lowest line of the rearsight and this worked for shots on close plates, but when schooting plates further away i had to use a different point of aim, a litte higher on the plate. Does this sound familiar to you? And do you use a different point of aim during a stage? I personaly like to shoot small steels with the outlines and for paper and big steels i use the FO for faster pick up. I've orderder a new front sight whith the smaller FO.

I switched to the comp hammer, and my gunsmith told me that he had work on the sear and because of that you have less creep. And he is right, before i was using the factoryhammer without any modification.

Hi, thats correct only one sightpicture. walktru with your squad probaly 3 minutes for every stage, and induvidual walktru, if the shooter before you is done.

Ok, but is someone from here using it? In my limited SVI gun i use an sti recoilmaster and i realy likes how that shoots, the only downside is that they break after 8.000 rounds. This something simulair i guess

I just had the worst reloading session of my life, 200 rounds in one hour on my 1050. The machine locked down every 25 rounds, im getting sick of this thing. First off all i changed the toolhead(quick change) from .38 super to 9 mm without using a conversionkit, many told me this is possible. The first problem starts when the plunger feeds brass into the shelplate, but sometimes not entirly so that the brass is halfway stuck in the shellplate and when this brass comes to sizingdie it kills my deprimerpin. Second problem is the primerslide, it chruses the primers every 1 in 25 and locks the machine down. I've been reading every post on the primerproblem but can't get it fixed. maybe this time the primerpunch is a little too high. What about problem one, do i need a conversionkit for 9 mm? i heard that was only the case with .223 rem and .38 rimless. Hope you guys can help.

No one? or doesn't the recuisted sight doesn't exist? Maybe i should ask what sight looks like the fixed competitionsight(big rearsightblade) and is adjustable for the shadow and production legal?

Hi all, I would like to change the rear sight of the sp01. And i would like it to be a bomar style sight. Maybe with a smaller notch iff possible. But i cant find one, that can be installed without milling the slide, and thats a no go. The only sights that i can find are lpa sights with a realy low rearsightblade. What adjustable sights do you use?

Hi all, My shootingbuddy bought an M&P 9 mm the 4,25 version. What are the most common upgrades? He has to stay production legal. And from wich website can i order them? I told him that the fist thing he should do is change the recoilspring. the triggers are supose to be around the minimum triggerpull for productionclass. Regards Patrick
