  1. Ok, so if it happens with different moons, you know it's not the moons. Try different ammo next.
  2. Good point, thanks. I'm talking about the 3x9 Bushnell that came on my Savage Axis, vs. Something that costs 200 bucks. I'm going javelina hunting in AZ, and my buddy says at the most 150 yards.
  3. I know nothing about rifle shooting. What does an expensive scope get me, over a cheaper one?
  4. Narrow it down. Gauge check one round, load it in a moon clip, fire it. Does it eject? Then two, then three... Is it the brass? The cylinder? The moon clips?...
  5. Maybe call TK since they worked on the cylinder?
  6. I gotta be honest with you, stage one looks like a traffic jam waiting to happen. But I'm still coming up.
  7. OP, what load are you using? Maybe it's too hot for the gun? I shoot 148gr Blue Bullets in front of 2.7gr of Clays, and don't have any extraction issues. .
  8. I loaded up some roll sized Federal cases with Blue Bullets 147 ( really 148) .357 bullets with 2.6gr of Clays, 1.190 OAL. They just barely make power factor, but more importantly they drop in to the cylinder easily with .035 TK moon clips.
  9. I ordered some Ranch Products moon clips. I'll let you guys know how they work out for me.
  10. Ok, I did a little experimenting. Multi time fired (in an auto pistol) Winchester brass is just too tight in my .035 TK moon clips. On the other hand, Federal multi time fired (in an auto pistol) brass seems to work better for me. I'm going to load up a few rounds, and check it out. But so far it looks promising.
  11. Oh, I guess I should have mentioned I'm shooting 3gr of Clays behind a 160gr Bayou RN .38 Short Colt.
  12. Thanks, TK moon clips. .040 was too tight. What brand are you using?
  13. Does anybody know how altitude effects power factor? I live in Southern California, near sea level. Eaton is 4,839 above sea level. Anybody know what's going to happen to my powder factor?
  14. I've switched over to my 929 for a while. I'm using .035 moon clips with Win 9mm brass. Most of the rounds will spin in the moon clip. And the clip will fall right into the cylinder. However sometimes I get a really tight round, and the loaded moon won't drop in. Is that what you guys that are using Win brass in your 929 are seeing?
  15. I don't know why you guys are such haters. It matches my grills .

  17. I got it from the Liberace estate
  18. What rear sight is that? Bowen?
