Yes would be quicker with both hands I would imagine. But 9 times outa 10 your reloading anyway so hands off gun already

Does it meet the plus or minus .1 inch length of OEM barrel to meet USPSA production standards? It appears a little long in the pic.

You Dont want to condition yourself to hitting steel on paper. Might affect your matches.

I shortened my oal to 1.107 with 3.5 TG and 147MG bullet. And now I can make a steady 130 pf. Im suprised how short I had to make it to achieve this pf compared to my XDM

Somebody from your club/area has to have an extra holster. If not, nothing a small piece of cardboard and electrical tape can't fix.
So to answer the original post, the answer is "yes" ?
I've already given away my Blackhawk when my Blade-tech arrived....And he is using it this weekend...
Did you already send out your holster? If not call BT back and explain your situation.

That's a good idea...looking in rule book it says "any complete handgun or components with min. Production of 500 and availible to gen. Public" in production the specifically mention that barrel replacement must be same caliber. But no mention of that for limited.

I was hoping to at least TRY shooting the gun awhile before ordering the Apex kit. I also have a box-stock M&P 9L with a great, smooth trigger, and no gritty, scrapey take-up. I will eventually get the Apex kit or have Dan Burwell work on it. I have an unanswered email to Dan, and I'm still waiting for a reply. BTW, I really like the Pro's sights! They are much better than the 9L's 3 dot set, and I'm surprised so many people change them right out of the gate.
Does anybody have a home-brew solution to the gritty take-up with out a kit or gunsmith? Thanks!
I've sent Burwell an email a week for the last month or so and no response. No response from Accurate Iron or Bowie either. I guess they don't want my money.
You will have better luck contacting dan on here.
BTW. I shoot reloads 147gn and never have a problem with the slide not locking back. Running with stock springs.

Thanks again brian, I just called and was taking care of. When my daughter gets of age, she will be wearing a blade-tech holster for sure.

If that's the case, that would be great. I have a sectional to shoot in less then a month. Just a bit of a PITA over a triangle that provides no advantage to the shooter. Im still waiting to hear back from BT

This is retarted. Im slapping a piece of electric tape on mine and calling it good

I just measured mines also. The cut-out IS 3/4 inch , BUT on the draw ,the muzzle clears at the 1/2 inch mark,the additional 1/4 cut-out is just the sight tunnel.
I just re-measured and my muzzle does not clear before the 1/2" mark also. So does this pass?
