Redding...not RCBS.

I don't the California hate, but having a back to back USPSA/ICORE Revo Nat's would be cool.

Duck - Most bigger matches are lost brass matches. It's a perk for the RO's.

LIke at nationals last year
So when any of you hit spell check does it think you want to spell "Escargot" instead of uscbigdawg?
Jamie - Is that a shot or are you being serious?

My trick for 40 brass (until I get the dies for my CasePro) is that my Dad did like 10k pieces of once fired brass (picked up at the local police range) and then double resizes them. One hit, rotate about 180 degrees, hit it again.
So far everything has worked flawless in my Dillon gauge and in my pistol.

Heck Joe...I live less than an hour from the old AMT Custom Shop that built all the cool 10/22's back in the hay day of the STC. I've always want to shoot that match, but practicing for the flurry unless you're down in Princeton (I'm VERY jealous Renee) is a little tough.

Mike Dalton IMHO says it best. Classes are great at the club and local level as it's a measure for skill and (hopefully) spurs achievement and advancement. However, at the National and International levels, all that matters is overall finish.
It's one of the oldest sayings in our sport but, if you won your class, it means you didn't win the match.

I'm going to vote no.

I like that Jack!!!
Bart - You've got Seth and jake. I've got Matt C., Matt B. and Brian agreeing that it's either zero, when properly executed (which was my qualifying statement as well), or not enough to matter.
I do need another single stack. 40 or 9?

Yep. .169" pin (a.k.a. large pin). He'd be better off with a JP trigger.

Small zip-lock bag in my tool kit. It also has extra C-More screws, my JPoint adjustment tool (for 3-Gun) and the instructions for zero'ing that thing.

Hey Rich, that one's calling your name (nickname) dude!
Eh...I have a single stack, but only MIGHT use it CDP (if it's even legal). I still say a properly executed reload at a position greater than say 3-4 yards, the reload is a non-factor.

Difference is about 1mm.
Mags are easy. If he'll do them, send them to Beven. Otherwise...you have an open gun right? Use the 140mm mags and it should run fine.

How 'bout the Briley/Anschutz conversion?

All in all, not bad.
Left Port: I wouldn't have the 2 targets on the left until I was done with the port. Don't drop the gun down.
Right Port: About your position, basically, ports are a box. So, entering in to a port is like entering a box. A solid placement with your left foot to get the body turning in the overall direction of the port would have corrected the 'wratcheting'. I also would have picked up the open target on the right as you moved down the course.
Back section: Definitely would have shot that back target on the move and use it to slow me down for the 2 on the left.
If it felt good, roll with it. Goin' for it with no reload! That's always good.

Pre-match intake. Stop and Jack in the Box for:
- Steak & Egg Breakfast Burrito (1-2 packets of Taco Sauce)
- No hashbrowns
- French Toast Sticks & Syrup
- 1.5 Large Diet Cokes
Hit a stop 'n' rob on the way and pick up a good, low sugar protein bar and a gallon of water. Pre-match nutrition/health prep is hydration 3-4 days prior (mildly more aggressive than normal w/ water), night before 800mg of Motrin (old Army, night before a PT test trick). I'm getting my nutrition under control. My trainer loves it and hates it. I'm dropping a lot of weight (I need to), and I'm getting a lot stronger and faster. It's like Mr. Voigt said this weekend to tell him, "I can eat more than you can make me burn!".

Okay...Norco then.

Chris - I'm sure you'll agree...I'd love to have a flat trigger for my 700.
Trapr - I don't suppose they make this stock for a Win 70, LA in 300WM?

Nick - I am very impressed with your speed. After RO'ing you on Stage 2, I understand why you have achieved what you have at your age. Too, like we talked about, some of the mental things we both need to work on are:
- Trust your speed. Believe that our comfortable speed is fast and that it is fast enough. Trying to go fast creates opportunities for the conscious mind to kick in and be critical or judgemental making us either slow or make mistakes because it detracts from the unconscious.
- Don't overthink; just shoot. Kind of the same as above, but different like we talked about. We saw that this match was a points match. While I didn't go as fast as a lot of folks, my points more than made up for that and did okay with a Top 16.
You're a great competitor and have a huge future. For those that don't know, this kid is scary fast. You can tell whatever sports you play or physical training you're doing is paying off. I think if you just shot your speed or even wratcheted down a gear you'd be suprised at the results. It's like Burkett says. In practice push to 110, 120, 130%. But at matches you shoot at 85-90%.
Great meeting you and the family! I can't make Silver Buckle, but don't be suprised if we come down for a club match.

Trust oddjob...he does work for the agency that matters here.

It is not a disadvantage if you shoot the A zone!
That's all you need to know. Is it possible to do well, shooting minor. Yep. Saw it this weekend in Open. Depending on the stage design, you CAN have advantage shooting Limited minor. I say anything's possible. Just a matter of how much we want to succeed at it.

Bobby - The McCree is the one I've been looking at to replace my B&C (unless I get ANOTHER McMillan).

1 - New Brass (that also gets roll sized)
2 - Weigh about every 50th round (loading on a 1050 and not worried, but it's an easy check)
3 - Other than that everything else that I do anyways:
- Roll size
- Tumble
- Load it
- Tumble it
- Dillon case gauge it (a smidge tighter than my chamber)
Rich
ETA: I'll chrono the loads just to make sure that it's where it's supposed to be (while confirming zero). I load at 173-174 PF so I'm not worried about making it.
