  1. I've been told that if you will be switching out dies, to just get a 650. But if you have a dedicating press to a caliber that you shoot all the time then get a 1050. I have a 650 and looking to get another press...currently looking at the 1050. Question: I pretty much shoot 9mm and .223. Anything other calibers I don't shoot enough to load in high volume and would reload on the 650. With that said, since the 9mm and .223 use small primers, what is involved with switching out calibers (9mm and .223) via a toolhead. Is it as easy as the the 650 (that is, 2 pins for the tool head, shell plate)? If not, what else is involved?
  2. Thanks Chuck. I'll try that one.
  3. Thanks guys. I'll try the heat gun again...it's as if the fix only lasts a few months before the angle creeps down again. Maybe this time I'll try getting it hotter, angle it how I want it, then put it in the freezer.
  4. Anyone have any suggestions on a wedge for a Blade-Tech DOH/Sting Ray holster? Have a problem with the bottom of the holster (i.e. front sight location) is digging into my hip. Some guys said there is a wedge you can put between the holster and belt attachment to make the holster more straight up and down. Thanks! JON
  5. Thanks everyone. Again, I haven't seen it with my own eyes which I have asked for and hope to in the near future. It just didn't make sense then and now. All I've ever used is Federal primers and [knock on wood] haven't had any problems. Thanks again!
  6. A guy I shoot with bought a new Dillon 550 and said the instructions stated not to use Federal Primers. Anyone ever heard of this? New one to me. All I use is Federal Primers on my 650XL. Not sure if he misinterpreted or what...
  7. Thanks, that is what I needed to know. Just make sure I understand clearly, you can remove (and adjust) the front and rear sights with the B&J 500 and it will work on the M&P Pro 5"? Thanks again
  8. Any suggestions on a sight adjustment tool that works on removing/adjusting front and rear sights on the M&P 5" slides? I know there are a few tools out there that only work on the non-5" slides. Understand the Kaiser Uni-200L needs to be modified first. MGW318 slide tool??? Does it work on the 5" slide? What about the Ameriglo SWTOOL12? Anyone use it? B&J 500 is out of stock everywhere and understand it doesn't work too good.
  9. Lee - thanks for the schedule. Exactly what I was looking for! See you then!
  10. What is the schedule for Saturday? Plan on registering Friday at the range. Didn't know what time we needed to be there Saturday morning.
  11. I'm not picky as to which magwell, but I am leaning toward the DP Ice Magwell. Has anyone had any experience doing this themself...which one not to buy or to buy.
  12. Here we go again with the US Senante trying to make decisions on Firearms. http://judiciary.senate.gov/hearings/hearing.cfm?id=4771 NOTICE OF COMMITTEE HEARING The Senate Committee on the Judiciary has scheduled a hearing entitled "Firearms in Commerce: Assessing the Need for Reform in the Federal Regulatory Process" for Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 226 of the Dirksen Senate Office Building.
  13. Another question. Is it possible to get a Small Frame Stock2 here in the US? With that said, who sales them? All the gun dealers I know (contacted) said they've been on back order for a while with no idea when they will be shipped. (i.e. RSR Group Distrutor).
  14. Skydiver - Thanks for pointing this out. Guess I was too hung up on "EAA" and "Witness" and only looked under those makes. Thanks again!
  15. I see many threads where people say the Stock 2 is production legal and others that say it isn't. Then hear that if it isn't on the USPSA Production list, then it is not. Just trying to get some clarification if the Stock 2 is USPSA Production legal as in if I go the Nationals with this gun, there will be no issues. After shooting it, I think it would make an awesome production gun and better than most of the others. Thanks for the help.
