The black coloring us usually an oxide I believe, not too tough. The true treatment is the hardening of the metal below, which itself has no color.

I take it the last one should be less than 11 oz.

I handled a bunch of them at SHOT. They were extremely loose.

I have a SVI stainless grip with enhanced ergonomics. I would buy this grip every time.

I had a mag catch spring go bad on me which caused my mags to drop on camera during an entire match. From now on if the mag catch comes out more than once or twice, a new spring goes in with it.

Yes. You can cerakote pretty much everything.
-
Maybe I missed it, How far were you when shooting those groups in the video?
-
Interesting...might try Shays out since it is temporary. Thanks for the share!

After owning hard chrome, melonite, and nickel boron I will never do cerakote again.

It was a local company no longer in business, kind of ended as soon as they started. I've been looking at WMD to do my next one, but if CCR does it I would rather send it to them depending on the price.

Here is a picture when I first put it back together. Still looks as good today as it did then, well I actually wore the stippling down smooth but the finish is still perfect.
I use a kydex holster, and have maybe 30k down range with it.
It DOES have a sliiighhht gold tint to it, but it looks great. You can see the difference between the coating and the magwell, which is silver.

I had my lightened 2011 coated a few years ago. The wear is just as good as my other hard chromed gun coming out of kydex. The gun cycles much faster bone dry over even light oil, although I keep it oiled. The wipe clean part has been pretty much true for me. I think I put up pictures here, I'll see if I can dig them up.

When approaching the $1k mark, I would much rather have one of the new paras over a sarco 2011.

I spent years playing tourney level paintball. I think that helped me out tremendously. Now I just use an airsoft gun to practice with.

Where are you located?

I use my stock barrel at 170pf without hesitation.

I have some holster wear with a bladetech, suprisingly to me most wear is where I rack the slide in the back.

This is common in CA. A CA FFLs options are slim with standard mags. Namely, they can convert them, or not give them to you. If they did not tell you up front you got bastardized mags instead of 10 rds (which are crap also) then I would avoid them. Not all CA FFLs are allowed to possess standard mags either.
Did you buy this in person? Or order it online?

Opps, forgot this.
5.1 grains @ 1.21" . Berrys plated 180gr RS.
These RS didn't like to feed at "standard" long lengths. I was able to make major with 4.6 at 1.18 though.

I always use the u die. I had a bulged case lock my chamber completely at a match when i switched to a standard sizng die. Round Failed to chamber completely. NOBODY COULD GET IT OUT. I had to use wd40 and a large soft face mallet....several times. I had a bright ring on the bottom of my round where the standard sizing die doesn't touch.

WST loaded Long. I bought some clays but couldn't make it work with my Barsto bull barrels.
