  1. I am getting back into shooting IPSC/USPSA and am looking for a recommendation for a pistol and rig that would qualify for Production Class. What are you shooting and why? Anyone shooting 10mm? I load for 10m/45/44 Magnum. I can always add a new caliber though. Thanks, Jason Carroll Aurora, CO
  2. I have an EAA Witness Stock in 10mm. ?The chrome bodies mag that came with it has no problem getting 15rounds in it, but the 3 that I got from the manufacturer are very difficult and will only get 12 rounds in them. Any suggestions? Thanks, Jason
  3. Buy a press. I started with a Dillon 550 for 10 years. I then upgraded to the Dillon 650. No comparison, the 650 is by far a better press. I haven't used any other presses, but I can say that I love my Dillon. My buddy is an officer on the Lone Tree Police Department and he loads over 5000 rounds a month on his press. He taought me more about reloading than everyone else and all of my reading combined. Most reloaders will let you come over and try their presses, so if you are really concerned, try a few out. Then you can make your decision. Jason
  4. I use Accurate #5 for .45 & #7 for 10mm (can't be beat for this cartridge). Jason
  5. Thanks, I am checking my June schedule to see if I can shoot in this match. I'll have to decide what to bring then :-). Jason
  6. I'll have to check out Pueblo West. Any idea the match fees? Thanks, Jason
  7. Thanks, I haven't shot a steel match in about 9-10 years. Brings back some great memories though! In the last 2 years, I've had some great LEO training and qualifications, so I am looking to get back in to competing. What firearm did you come back to shooting with? Fortunately, I have a lot to choose from, but I am always looking for suggestions. Jason
  8. And HPPS outside of Kiowa. I wanted to thank everyone for the information. I must say that I took for granted all of the opportunity to shoot IPSC in Mesa, AZ. In Denver, there aren't a lot of places that you can go to close to home and shoot a Tuesday night match. I am going to look into the Aurora Gun Club. Dumont and Kiowa are possibilities, but you have to give up the day to drive there and back. I'll just have to try them all out and see how bad the drives really are. Jason
  9. That is so the truth! Been years, and it's still exciting to do. What more can you ask from a sport. Jason
  10. I just wanted to say hello. I have been shooting for over 20 years and shot IPSC heavily in college. I lived in AZ then and shot Tuesday night steel at Rio Salado. My questions is where in the Denver area are people shooting USPSA/IPDA? I am looking to get back into the sport. It helps that I can afford it now. Thanks, Jason Carroll
