Yeah.. sounds to me that that run of Winnie brass didn't get the primer pockets cut deep enough. Using a uniformer will fix that.

I get the feeling that he is thinking of a Primer Pocket Uniformer.

I just revised my order with Powder Valley.. originally had VV 3N37 on order and changed it to Solo 1000 to use with cast 175's (Lee TC) and upped my order on the primers.. which we are waiting for them to come in. (20K)

Well I got the pistol in yesterday.. It has the slickest, smoothest trigger I have ever felt on a S&W DA/SA trigger!

Just curious.. why the S&W 1076 isn't on the production pistol list when the 1066 is? I have both.. but I like my 1076 better!

Well it is fine.. I don't mind having to stay in L10, from my standpoint looking at it as a new player in a new game, I feel that sticking to one division (or in my mind, one discipline), the better off I would be in the long run! The most the mags will hold are 11 rounds.. so having only 10 in them ain't any different to me. I am trying to read as much as I can and absorb it at the same time. I want to thank everyone in helping with this, being a newbie and all.. But at least now, I know where I will be starting when I show up for my first match. Oh By The Way.. I will be shooting in Oak Ridge at ORSA.

JW, Your saying that if I remove the magwell.. that the chances are that it may still be allowed in "production".. What about Limited-10? I am going to pick only one divison and stick with it..

I am pretty sure that Flex may be right on the 500 number.. fore I know that there were some all stainless versions made in 2004 also, but don't know what that count is.

If you already have the RL15, then use it. If you have not gotten any powder yet. Then go with Varget. Varget is less temp sensitive than RL15. As for bullets.. why 55gr if I may ask.. why not SIE69's?
