  1. Gonna shoot Area 1 in Idaho this June. Would like to shoot my Glock in Prod and Lim 10. Do I just double up on fees and fill in the appropriate boxes? Wondering if there's anything further. Thanks Scott
  2. Not asking about loads or velocity diffs. Wondering about hardness. Shoot a 34 w a Vanek Classic trigger. Just curious if anyone has seen or heard of any problems. I understand Wolf are fairly hard primers. Thanks. Scott
  3. I just felt the need to post about these two vendors. Having dealt with probably a hundred different firearm related suppliers over the years, these two are standouts. Recently purchased a Glock 34 for my SO and needed accessories, I went to Vanek and CWPSA. My first order, about 3 weeks ago was responded to the same day via email. Not just a computer generated, but actual email with questions and telling me that they would try and ship that day. I recieved bath packages within 3 days of order placed. Pretty good for a weekend order! Fast forward a couple weeks. I like her 34 so much with Charlie's trigger and the Dawson's that I got from Chris I order my own 34. So naturally last night I race home and order from Charlie and Chris again. I awake this morning to read emails from both of them. Thanking me for another order, congratulating me on getting a Glock, etc. I also told Chris I knew the spring I had ordered was on BO since Irene's had not arrived. He tells me they are in and that he had missed her BO but will get it out today with mine. Vendors like these are few and far between. I know they are both "little guys" but wouldn't it be nice if everyone ran their business like these guys?? Sorry for the long post but people who do such a great job should be singled out. Two very happy customers! Scott & Irene
  4. Used the Brass Wizard in Sacramento shoot. Worked excellent in hard pack with light loose on top. Beats the heck out of bending and picking up! Scott
  5. Im hesitant to file anything. Is it pretty easy to take of 10??
  6. Getting ready to change out my Kimber sight to a Dawson FO front and Heine Slant Pro rear. The rear is 125 on the opening and I was wondering what some of you all are using for the front or what your front/rear combos are?? The Dawson options are 100 or 125. I was hoping to be a little smaller on the front but not 25 smaller. I have a 125/115 on a Glock that looks comfortable. Lets here your thoughts... Thanks Scott
  7. Thanks for the welcome all! Cant wait to shoot IPSC as well. Looking forward to more rounds and movement. One thing I gotta figure out is how to get more money toward my gun! My SO got Dawson sights and a Vanek trigger headed her way for the Glock and I got nothing but several thousand rounds of brass waiting to be reloaded Oh well off to the garage. Thanks again to all Scott
  8. What an amazing time! The shooting was excellent, but the people were awesome! Everyone was absolutely great. My SO, Irene and I were both firsAt timers and the club and everyone to an individual were cordial friendly and enthusiastic. Im in Sacramento CA. Got our second IDPA in 2 weeks then our USPS class the following week. This forum has been an invaluable resource as well, thanks to all here! My Kimber was spot on and Irene's 3 day old Glock 34 shot great. It was her second time shooting it and only her 4th time shooting a gun! We weren't sure if she was gonna be able to shoot as her Blade-Tech gear only came in on saturday. She managed to hit every target on every stage. No hostages and no fail to neutralize. She even got to shoot a shotgun at one stage! Missed x2 at the steel but promptly dispatched them with her pistol. I also shot a couple of clean stages, much to my surprise. What a great day for shooting! If anyone is here thinking about doing it please believe everything you hear here, at least about how nice everyone is. Thanks again to all here for the info. Scott
