I have a S&W 625. When moonclips get slightly bent, rounds don't seat easily in the cylinder. Is there a way to flatten moonclips back to normal? Thank you.
If you are lucky, you get a 9mm Trojan that works. I wasn't so lucky. It was never 100% reliable. I finally sold mine after returning it to STI for service and then a later trip to another gunsmith. I've had very good luck with my other Trojan in 45acp. So cross your fingers if you plan to buy one in 9mm.
After buying a Benelli M2 for about $1000., how much more money is required to make it competition ready? Not talking about "Benelli perfection," just the basics to make it competition ready. Thank you.
When shooting 1 oz. slugs out to 50 yards and further, do you need to compensate for bullet trajectory? If so, approximately how many inches high or low should you aim at 50, 75 and 100 yards? Thank you.
Where would you buy the metal posts that you can set clay birds in for shotgun 3 gun shoots? Or is there a way to hold clay birds that might be cheaper than buying the metal posts? Thank you.
Great answers! Thanks, guys.
What is the range in length for shotgun barrels that works best in 3 gun and USPSA? Is an 18" barrel less than optimum for distance targets? Is a 30" barrel too long? Thank you.
Would appreciate any thoughts/opinions on the Mossberg 930spx. Is it a good choice for 3 gun and USPSA multi gun? Do you see many in competition? Thank you.
OK, new guy question here. I plan to get a scope mount- considering Armalite, JP and several others with two attached rings.. If you get a mount of this type, is there any reason to use lapping compound before installing a scope? Thank you.
In USPSA, do you move down in classifications as well as up? That is, can a C class shooter get moved back down to D class? How often can your classification in a particular Division change? Thank you.
Thanks, everyone, for your replies. Is "Refinement and Repetition" the book you are recommending? Do I also need his other book, "Principles of Performance"? Thank you. I plan to try one or both of them.
OK, I'm a D Production shooter. It would be nice to move up from D Class to C Class in something. So in which USPSA Division would be easiest to make C Class? Thank you.
When scoring stage 1 of the classifier, suppose there are ten hits on a target, but only two head shots on the target. How is this scored, assuming the RO did not see which shot was the missed head shot? Thank you.
Why are 5" barrels not allowed in either IDPA Revolver Division? It would seem logical, since 5" barrels are allowed in other divisions. Thank you in advance for any replies.
