I was told that the Trojans loosen up rapidly. I wonder if it has anything to do with it having a cast frame?

Now you need to get a 22 conversion for that Brazos Custom Trojan you got coming in this week. Have you tried out that STI 22 conversion yet? I was thinking about taking it out tomorrow afternoon. The Witness Match is an awsome IDPA ESP gun and best of all you can really trick it out.

I picked up a wittness match 40 cal about a year and a half ago for around $450. The match is a solid firearm. And yes, all the Matches are in the Elite series.

That is what Rob from CZ custom said but I thought Limit 10 was shot primarily in those states that only allow 10 round mags.

I have an 8 round cobra mag and a Wilson combat 8 round mag that are for a 45. I can easily fit 9 40 cal rounds in each and they seem to fit well. I have ordered a STI Trojan 40 cal and am wondering if there is a chance they are compatable?

If you get one then you won't be able to make fun of mine anymore. I said I liked the way it looks. I was just funning at Steve about your magwell and polymer style guns. I was just thinking how I could increase my reload times.

I am in the same boat. I just ordered a 40 cal Trojan from Brazos Custom but owned a Spartan in 45 and found it to be very accurate and reliable except for my particularly bad reloads. I was thinking the performance realistically will probably be similar.

That is a gun to be proud of. There is something to be said about pride of ownership.

How well does the IONBond hold up to Kydex?

Does anyone know how competitive this gun can be in Limited and what are the best modifications?

A natural athlete can perorm at a high level with less than average technique. Natural athletes often do not have great technique because they can often get bye without it. A technical athlete usually has a fair degree of athleticism but in order to compete at a higher level he/she has to do all the little things to offset the pure abilities of the natural athletes. However, when you can take a natural athlete and instill discipline and fundementals then you get a stud.

I would like to meet him.

It would be hard to determine if it was sanded or wear from thousands of practice sessions.

I suppose any shot outside the O zone can be considered a mental error. (lack of focus)

I know the Trojan is fitted here in Texas and the Spartan is fitted somewhere in Asia but how much of a difference is there really?

I had a Kimber Ultra Carry II. Stock 4lb trigger w/polymer frame and 3" barrel. I sure do miss it.

I wonder if any changes would have to be made to my current mags? ie. longer basepads

Does anyone know if the ice magwell will create any problems on a STI Trojan 40 cal? Fit in the box/weight issues. I have been told the Trojan in 9mm has weight issues.

Anyone have any experience with the Dawson Ice magwell? How does it compare to a Smith & Alexander?
