  1. Anyone get any light strikes with this spring kit with factory ammo?

Before I put the Apex parts in I have had light primer strikes with most of my M&Ps. They usually didn't start showing up until after 5K+ rounds (one went over 30K). I started putting the extra power striker springs in all of mine. With the Apex seer the extra power striker spring isn't noticeable.

BTW, I don't replace the trigger spring or the seer spring, just the FPB spring with the Apex (lighter) one and the striker spring with the extra power one from SSS.

  2. I don't have the numbers handy but they don't list a WST load for 9mm. I did have to go way over max to make major with WST in 180 CMJ .40. I did load some 9 with WST but the primers looked like they were starting to show flattening when I made it to 125PF with a 115gr CMJ. I gave up on WST for 9 and only use it in .40 when loading minor.

  3. I can't find anything that restricts it. The following only applies to a COF that has been identified as "Closed" or "Off-Limits", though those two terms are not defined:

8.7.4 Altering stage props, targets or any other part of a COF without the approval of a Range Officer, or setting, resetting or activating moving targets on a COF identified as “Closed” or “Off Limits” will be subject to the provisions of Section 10.6.

It does define Off-Limits Lines but not an off-limits COF.

  4. If you are using Internet Explorer, when you are at the match listing screen:

You can right click on the date link and select "Copy Shortcut". You can then paste that into an email or post.

Unfortunately I could not find a way to get the competitor summary. My advice would be to send someone the link to the match results and then tell them to enter the USPSA number in the bottom and click "Show Summary.

  5. Is it a LSWC with a round nose or a truncated cone? My limited experience has been that the OAL for a truncated code / flat point is much shorter than a comparable round nose bullet. I haven't loaded .45 in a while but with 9mm I don't even adjust the seating die when switching from round nose to JHP and back. I end up with an OAL of 1.125 for round nose and 1.087 for JHP and they both work fine.

  6. Wow! I was really impressed with the presentation. Even the commercials were interesting!

They did a great job of introducing some of the portions of the game. I was really hoping to see some of the head-to-head shootoff, though. I guess I *have* to watch it next week, :)

(I scheduled my flight late enough this morning so I could stay home to watch it, even though I set the DVR to catch it)
