We’re moving to AZ in the Fall. I’m looking forward to meeting you.

I hope not, I want to meet him. We’re moving to AZ, NLT early October.

Wow, I have two G21’s, I didn’t know they offered a 6”. You sure about that?
-
I alway place bullet down, that way I never load one with a missing or crushed primer. When I have a match I inspect each one, not so much when they’re just for practice.

I’ve shot Production with my G21 for years, I reload, so my cost is low. I have to load to a pf of 150, to get the slide to return correctly. The recoil is less than a 9mm, which is good when your friend Arthur is in both wrist. I use 200 SWC, mainly Bayou Bullets, and some Black Bullets. I love that big hole. I recently had Pike (http://mod1firearms.com) add a Trijicon RMR to my G21 for Carry Optics, and my G19 for Steel and GSSF. The G19 was my EDC for a few months.
Sadly Life gave me a kick in the A$$, and I discoverd I have Neuropathy. It’s not a good idea, to be running with a loaded .45, when you start to lose your balance. So I sold my G19.
I still plan on shooting Steel and GSSF (Open) with my G21. I sent a Certificate to GSSF for another G21, they’re just like a kid, you can’t beat them.
You will enjoy shooting your G21 in Production.

The set screw in the ram? Is it tight? I have a 550...not so sure about the 650.
You beat me, as usual.

I got it off. Moderators, please close.

Hello people, I did some trading and got a Trijicon ACOG 3 X 30. I slapped it on my Ruger SR-556 to check out where I should set it. Well I can't get the durn sight off, using the Quick Release.
I assume I just press down on the small tab on the lever. But I must be doing something wrong.
BTW, this quick release is the old style, about 6 yrs. old.
Any suggestions?

Fantastic match! Very cold this morning! Are the results up yet?
Hopefully next year you’ll be back to shorts.
-
Has anyone shot a match in this division yet? If so and the results are online would you mind posting a link to them.
There is all kinds of information on this, on our forum. uspsa.org

Who makes DAG brass?

Don't let them scare you away! We have 2-3 month of hot weather but 9-10 months of great weather! I've never regretted moving to PHOENIX - moved here in 1991 and never looked back!
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Same here in KY, 2-3 months of crappy weather, the rest really nice.

All AT wants is some piece and quiet...give him a piece and he'll be quiet.
Good for you. 70 and still looking for a piece...Quite good, old boy!You do know I'm 70, and looking for some piece and quite.
Man, you have me figured out.

I'm interested in what you find, my Dad is looking for a "Snow Bird" spot like that...
Check post #2.

Hello people, we're thinking about moving from KY to the Phoenix area. Not in Phoenix, but in a town that has a population <100,000, and is <50 miles from a major airport. And of course a 55+ community to buy a home, with a HOA.
Oh, one more thing, close to some fine USPSA shooting clubs.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Anywhere Mesa, Gilbert or Chandler is good... the folks in all the clubs out there especially Rio Salado treat one another as Family.
Thanks, we're working with Debbie Keehart.

I am interested in getting started on a gun for CO. Is there a reason that no one mentions the Trijicon RM sights ? Is there a problem with them?
Not trolling...real question because that is the direction I was looking.
I have Trijicon RMR sights on my G19 (Steel), and G21 (Carry Optics). A little pricey, but if the military trust them, that's good enough for me.
-
Is this serious? There are less than a dozen pros in shooting.
Until you quit your day job, a person isn't pro at anything. They're just better than other people.
Aren't there a lot of shooters, that get ammo, and match fees paid.
-
I have a 3.5 Trijicon RMR, on both my G19 (Steel) and G21 Carry Optics. For me, the 3.5 works great at 5 yds. and I a 8" plate at 50. YMMVIs 8 MOA kind of the standard for pistol dots?

So my optic breaks. Can I finish the match with suppressor sights, while keeping the optic on the gun?No more need for discussion now. Optic is required.
Required use of a slide-mounted optic, prohibiting guns without an optic. [/size]
Is there a requirement that I turn the optic on? How are we going to police that?
What happens when the dot goes off halfway through the stage? How will we police that?
Can I have back up sights on the gun?
What happens if my gun breaks, and my only backup is my production gun?
I assume you are kidding, as the below responses are clearly the answer to your queries.
All kidding aside, as a moderator, are you trolling? Have you bothered to read the posts on the USPSA forum and USPSA FB page where there have been explanations from BoD members?
If this forum wrote the rule book it would be 1000 pages long.
Common sense says optic breaks u can finish. Back up gun with no optic shouldn't be allowed. In every other situation a back up gun needs to meet division requirements
To shoot CO, you have to have an Optic on your pistol. If you don't turn it on, who cares. You've still shot the match in Carry Optics.
Okay, is this not cheating, atbarr?
You must use a slide mounted optic, correct? The division can not be shot with iron sights, correct?
So, are we going to check each shooter at the start of each stage? Don't think so.

I thought Clays was not a good choice for 9mm. I use Clays only for .45, Solo 1000 for 9mm. YMMV
