Just wanted to share some of my results from this weekend. Tested two popular loads in this combo through a Glock 34 with both factory and a KKM threaded barrel. OAL set to 1.125". My best group was with the 3.5gr Titegroup. I did email them and am waiting for a reply. I was just letting the guy know that he wasn't alone. If it were an answer, then why is it still a problem?

I use a Briley +5 without a clamp. The extension extends probably 2-3" past the end of my Carlson extended chokes. If I remember, I can try to load some 3" shells in my factory magazine to see what I get. I think I have some 3" pheasant loads laying around somewhere.

A little blue loctite. No worries. I'd put it on your bolt release screw and mid bead as well while you're at it.

So right now they are only 75% over priced on just about everything? I am pretty sure if you have a round in the chamber and a round on the lifter and a round in the tube when you pull the trigger you are going to have a nice double feed that is going to be a huge pain in the ass to fix while on the clock. I could be wrong though... +1. I agree. I'll test to be sure, but I think you're right.

I didn't see anyone answer your initial questions, so I'll try to do that as best as I can. I only use the mid bead when shooting slugs. For it to shoot POA/POI for me, I need the beads to line up with another. So the brass bead covers up the fiber optic. It sounds like the far majority of people shoot slugs high with this shotgun right out of the box and experience exactly as you experience, the fiber optic "sitting" on top of the mid bead. I was in the same boat. I would shoot it at 50 yards to verify, but my guess is that you'll want to change out your drop ship. The 65 has seemed to do the trick for myself and most everyone here. I'm curious about your comment about your bolt handle not coming off by hand. Are you pulling straight out on it to see if it will come out? The bolt and carrier are keyed so that in their relaxed positions, they prevent the bolt from coming out. You have to manually push the bolt in ~about half way for the holes to align before the bolt will come out. Please see your user's manual.

I would even be willing to buy someones spare that had done that and then thy could buy it back in a couple of weeks I just want to get this done without losing a couple weeks of practice before the Freedom Munitions match in 2 weeks or so Paul, I can help you out. I experienced this too.....High and to the right was my POI....I am retesting just to make sure the shooter error is negligent.... Same here. I changed the drop shim to the 65 on both my Berettas. POA = POI for me now.

Can someone confirm the BCG commonality? Snapped my charging handle off going into a dump barrel this weekend and need a new one. Preferably one that isn't cast and fragile. Nice gun, running reasonably well...not as rugged as I expect (which means I tend to replace parts and have spares as I break them). I can swap charging handles when I get back, but I'm 99.9% sure they are interchangeable. Briley makes a replaceable charging handle that should be a lot more durable. I lube everywhere ropsitos has stated, as well as the exterior of the magazine tube under the handguard. I believe Trapr had a post about this showing burnt tubes from lack of lube? Anyway, I run mine fairly wet (as I did my M2) and I have yet to have any issue at all. It sounds very odd that you'd experience problems running wet but then none when running dry.

I had someone ask me if I could take pictures of my A400 and my 1301 side by side to see the differences. So I thought I'd share what I found: I took a bunch of pictures and put them in an imageshack folder. Let me know if you have any issues viewing it. In all of the pictures, the A400 is the one on top. https://imageshack.com/a/mcSq/1 The only differences I can tell: - End of magazine is different to accomodate the b-lok feature of the A400. - A400 stock is longer - 1301 has a higher raised rib - 1301 has the mid bead - A400 obviously has the kick-off - A400 can shoot 3-1/2s Similarities: - Just about everything - gas system, barrel extension, receiver, bolt carrier group

Does it feel like it kicks hard enough to need more padding? I'm pretty happy with the factory pad.

When I was shopping for my A400 Xtreme, I could definitely feel a difference between the 26" and 28". The 28" felt more balanced and had a natural swing to it. I did not get the chance to do this same comparison when I bought my 1301. I already had a +6" extension. So I went with the 24" to get the muzzle closer to the end of the extension.

That's a great price. I'd jump on it.

Anyone have a picture of a 1301 carrier that has been welded by C-rums?
