  1. Can someone put the stages into a PDF. and send them to John Booths? My PC just died in the middle of going through my emails
  2. Ok guys here are the stages for the match. It will be 120 rounds if you shoot it clean. I'm getting the shakey bridge involved early this year. The weather will be great so there shouldn't be any excuses. I'm doing something a little different with the cost to shoot the match. I'm trying to get more new shooters so if you are a new shooter you will shoot for $5 as always. But if you are the one who brings the new shooter, you get $5 off your match price. (Unless your a lady or Jr. because you already shoot for $5.) Set up is at 8:00am, Registration at 9:45 and start shooting around 10:15 or whenever we get the set up done. Extra set up help is always appreciated and needed. So if you can show up early, find me and I'll direct you how you can help. See y'all there. 3. First of all it wasn't that cold. And secondly birthday is spelled with an (i) not an (e). But happy birthday anyway.
  4. This is the 3rd match of the year and the weather is supposed to be wonderful. I don't have the stages done yet but when I do I'll post them. Hopefully I'll get to see some of you guys that have been cooped up all winter. Like it was really that cold
  5. I think we shot a classifier match because of the circumstances of that day,so I don't think next month will be another classifier match. I'm sure other local clubs will be having some though. Yes you are correct. The next match will be the one I was going to run this month. Hopefully the weather cooperates. Jason
  6. [quote name='KING 45ACP' We ended up shooting 5 classifier stages and another field course. So this ended up being a great day because now I am classified in Single stack. And me in open!! Watch out flyn 40
  7. I just got home (i live 6 miles from the range). In Columbus there was 3 inches of snow and down here we have none.....but it is snowing now so who knows how much we will get. Hell who cares I'm gonna have the match anyway. I haven't heard from flyn40 to see if he will be there and if he was going to bring some chili. If anyone brings something warm such as chili, soup, coffee maker...etc I will let you shoot for a special price of $5. Make sure if you do decide to bring something you post it on here so we don't have 4 or 5 guys bringing coffee. Thanks. Hope to see you all there. Jason
  8. where not in florida.....9 is cold, 10 is match time! hey, It's all relative. People in Key west think 50 is cold and people in Alaska think its warm.
  9. OK guys here are the stages for the match this weekend. February 6th. Set up is at 8am and start shooting around 10am or when ever we get done with setup. I think it's like 129 rounds. Hope to see you all there. 99-24 front sight 2.pdf Blunder down under.doc The Go Go.DOC Remix.doc White on White.DOC
  10. 30 degrees is plenty warm. I will have a couple of heaters and some pallets to burn in the 55 gallon trash barrels.
  11. I used to live in Toledo. And if I remember right it is just around 3 or 3 1/2 hrs from the north west side of toledo.
  12. A new season is here. Reload your ammo, oil your gun, put your boots on and lets have some fun........ lets shoot. It might snow Feb 6th but I'm having a match. I will post the stages after I see how many people are going to make it for setup. And the weather conditions. Last year I think we had something like 9 people show up to shoot what I like to call the "Ice Bowl". Let me know if your going to be able to make it for setup. Setup starts at 8am or shortly after. Conrad
  13. Hope everyone had fun. I know I sure did. It was a great day for shooting. I will get the scores done as soon as I can. Thanks to everyone that helped throughout the year. I wouldn't be able to make these matches as big and elaborate without you guys and gals. I've scheduled the first match of next year for Feb 6th. See you all next year. Jason Conrad
  14. here are the stages. You better bring more ammo cause this match will take 149 rounds. And yes there is a stage that you are expected to shoot one hand. Only 25 rounds and only 15 of that is steel. 99_39.pdf can__t_see__m.DOC ChickenCoop.DOC punkin_fever.DOC Slinky.DOC
  15. I have the stages done. Better bring extra ammo cause it's 149 rounds and thats if you don't miss. I'll put the stages on here as soon as I can. Jason
  16. This will be the last match of the year so you better make it. And bring all your mags and moon clips. I might go crazy and have a stage that is 40 rounds of steel at 25 yrds and have you carry a pumpkin in your weak hand. No I'm not kidding, I was thinking about it. Haven't ruled it out yet. I am still working on the stages for the match. Set up at 8:00, Reg at 9:45 and shoot when we get it all set up. 10:00ish. I hope to see all of you there. Conrad
  17. we have a small box of lost and found items. PM me for your lost stuff and I'll see if it's in the box. Jason Conrad
  18. Now that I'm finally recuperated enough. I would like to thank all the staff that helped make this possible. You guys are awesome! I've never seen staff work that hard. The change over was crazy. Using truck headlights because it got dark on us! That's just crazy! I would also like to thank the competitors who came from near and far. I believe the farthest was from Italy. It was a good feeling to see all the ranges at PCSI full of competitors that were having a good time even if they weren't shooting that well. Congratulations to all the winners.
  19. OK. Im good with that as an answer. I will change my former stance and would now call for reshoot. Enos forum is great for stuff like this
  20. I will take credit or blame for the stage. Although I don't feel it was careless. The 2 hard cover targets were set low just in case someone engaged them from inside the tunnel so not to let a round go over the berm. There should have been a vision barrier before the tunnel so you couldn't see the 2 hard cover targets. I believe everyone overlooked something. That is a comma not a period 10.2.5 "In the tunnel," I believe they mean "In the case of"or "In the situation of the copper tunnel,". As I asked the question before. What about when the competitor knocks off the first stick with his hat. If he hasn't even taken a step into the tunnel yet. The rule book says "In a Copper Tunnel, a competitor who disturbs one or more.............It says nothing about dislodging sticks with you body. Never would have thought that stage would caused so much problem.
  21. the shooter actually shot the cross piece not the support
  22. ima45dv8 wrote "With what has been revealed since the thread started, I'd have to agree. The first words of 10.2.5 state, "In a Cooper Tunnel,...." [emphasis added]. I can't see how what he did outside of the tunnel would fall under that rule. " both of these are good points but as far as the shooting a wall support. I need time to think about that one. As far as the second one I'm gonna argue that "In a Copper Tunnel........What about when a shooter knocks down the first stick with his hat on his way into tunnel. He will most likely be leaning forward so technically he isn't in until his feet are inside the tunnel area. I don't think we need to put fault down to show when you are "in" the tunnel. Back to the what flex said about a wall support. I feel that those are not the same thing. I don't see how that would have changed or made the targets any better or worse.
  23. here is thew stage and it was shot before he went into the tunnel. I believe it was one of the 2 hard cover targets Tunnel_of_Love.DOC
  24. By the way I have nothing against the guy. I don't even know what shooter he was. I just want a rule clarification.
