Got the prizes for the benefit match. There are more prizes than shooters. I'll have that list for display shortly. We also have an AR rifle builder on the list. For now the rifle will be raffled off but that could change.

Just had a meeting with Brigadier General Mark Arnold (retired). Were both excited about the match and the amount of prizes to give away. One of which is an M1Grand. Don't forget that all of the money raised will go to the Special forces. So get signed up.

Let's celebrate July 4th right. Mads is leaving me in charge this month. (I'll leave it up to you guys if that's a good idea or not) I will run 5 stages like we usually do. 125 rounds or so. Oh yeah and if you have a wheel gun 6 or 8 bring it out. I plan on using my 6 shooter against those guys with 8. Stages will be set up neutral. No 7 or 8 shot arrays or all steel stages. Set up starts at 8am and we shoot when the stages are all set up. Around 10:30. I will get the Ipads later this week so I can get it set up in practicescore and everyone can get registered early. There is almost always 1 if not 2 classifiers at C-ville....................but that is a month away and I'm sure Mads isn't thinking about that yet.

Is the match still on? Yes, the match is still on!!!! (Per email from Mads at 5:49 PM today.) Watch out for the hill as apparently still snow and ice present. Park at top if you can't make it down and call Mads (614-893-5541) of Jason (740-475-8405) and they will come get you on the four wheeler. 130 rounds downrange if shoot clean. Yipee!!! It was a good design Mads. Then I made it better...LOL. BTW I think I was 2alpha,2alpha and charley mike back there behind the door. Yes I got the mike on the swinger. Thought I had it and didn't want the extra time to make sure....guess I was wrong. The biggest problem I saw guys having with the door was their feet. I couldn't count how many times I saw the shooters feet stop the door from opening all the way. But it was enough to activate the targets.

Did anyone think the activators on bay 4 (the door stage) was to much or to fast? I didn't think it was too hard but as the CRO running that stage, I saw a lot of guys with mike/no-shoots.

Almost time!! We got a lot done Sunday. We will be setting up stages on wednesday and Thursday. I will be there at 9:00am on wednesday and probably 8:00 on Thursday. If anyone wants to help set it up just come on over. We can use the extra help.

If the hit is pasted then he can't do anything about it. If not, however, again, I still see no rules against it. Personally if there is a questioned hit the target should be left alone, in my opinion. Also I really find it pretty sad that people don't want the correct score if it hurts their score. You shot what you shot. I would expect the same from the RO staff for every shooter. I agree to taking the correct score also. That's why I asked for the CRO. I didn't feel the RO was holding the overlay over the center of the bullet hole. On a side note I have told Ros that they missed a no-shoot. My hits are my hits good or bad.

I was safe and had fun. That's was the main thing.

I thought the CRO was only supposed to look at the hit in question. Because a lot of times the other hit gets pasted before he gets there.But I do see the point about an extra hit in the D zone. But in my case it was only 2 shots fired.

Can a CRO overturn a hit? I had 2 edge hits at the upper AB zone. The RO called Bravo mike. I asked for an overlay then for the CRO. I asked him to look at the lower hit to see if it was a Bravo. He looked at both of the hits and called 2 mike. I was a little confused at first. Can he over rule a shot that I didn't ask him to look at? The range master came and I ended up back where I started at Bravo mike. I know I should just shoot better so as to not cause the problem.

Stage 3 was 25 rounds and "if " you were perfect on the first 18 rounds which was 3 paper then 3 paper then 2 paper and 2 steel...don't miss on the 2 steel. Then you went down range and there was 7 rounds left and that was the only place I saw to shoot them from. I know tjere was more but I can't remember the stage #s. I think with better stage layout this could have fixed to make it more neutral. Just my 2 cents.

That's a lot of awesome prizes. If your reading this and not signed up....you really need to get on it! 8 guns and possibly more.
