  1. What did I miss? I don't have a sound card. Explain what is happening in the video, please? Thanks. Matt
  2. Dang, Tom. God luck, my prayers are with you. I have C-spine issues from rodeo/rough stock/car-wreck/groing up in the 70's and 80's.... My left hand/4th and 5th finger tingle often. Doc syas I am doing well enough not to warrant anything drastic at this point... Do you so a lot of work at a desk? Is your workstation ergonomically correct? Two things taht help me... Good luck. Matt P.S. The hoster and belt are great! I am loving my Para 40 and shooting C-cla limited this year (frst year).
  3. THS - Yep, that holster is great! Thanks again! You are a class act! To all - Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. Our club practice on wednesday was great. I was shooting "A"s while on the run! (They were close targets) WOW! What a rush! After the HF's were run, I was 6.8, 7.1, and 7.3 on my last three runs. I was shooting with the better "C" class guys. It was just a practice set-up, but required a 10-yd dash shooting on the run, steel, and 20 rounds total. Oh what fun! Lucky for me, no reloads needed with my P-16. Gotta love this game!
  4. I shot my first real match in Bozeman- 4 classifier stages, a few misses, a few bad reloads, and I landed in the middle of the "C" class shooter performance for the match. Sure enough, I classed out as "C-Class" for my very first card from USPSA! I was hoping to do better, but I am happy with that. The way I figgure it, its not to bad for a Newbie to the sport! A couple less misses, nd I might move up! Those brain farts/jerks/(insert excuse here) really get to you.... Matt
  5. lynn jones, oh yeah..... NICE idea. A little wind in her direction would help. I am still hoping to live in a nice neighborhood, eventually, and maybe some day she will take the hint watching me mow out her kitchen window. I don't know why she would, she watched my pregnant wife mowing last year and did't even say thanks..... Then her fat kids walk their dog to my lawn for #2 in the same week! I need to start a "bad neighbor" website....I think I saw one of those somewhere... Also, I am currently preoccupied with her dogs that yap all night. I am going to borrow a paint-ball gun and paint that sucker green at midnight practicing paint-ball bill drills through my bedroom window..... where is the A zone on a Schnauzer?
  6. I have had it. Rain again this weekend. All week it is at leat attempting to be nice out, and Sat. we are slated for a full-on rain. One better...my neighbor, who hasn't mowed her lawn in over a YEAR, has a mower parked in the driveway, in the rain, and will likely hang a for sale sign on it before she actually gets her lawn mowed! I am getting tired of mowing her lwn when I can't stand it any longer. The weeds are a bugger to get through at 12" tall. Better yet, the back yard lwan got hight enough last year to blow-down.... like hay or grain! She has $ to hire someone, she just doesn't... Oh well, at least I have a privacy fence in the back yard.
  7. I shot my first match and classifier after the new shooter clinic sunday. Talk about FUN! I did as well as can be expected, and really enjoyed myself. A bee sting to my week-arm was distracting, but I only missed once all day, .....during the classifier! AAAHHH! Overall, my results were pretty good, though and that miss only cost me one or 2 places in my division (Limited). My equipment was largely acquired from generous board members at below its value, or at the bottom of the "fair" scale, and lots of pointers and advice received on this board was put into practice. Then one of the Master-Class shooters (from whom I bought my pistola) gives me a generous compliment on this board! He shot really well! Holy Cripes are those guys fast! Thanks!!!! What a Board, what a Sport, what a great way to spend time and $$$!!! DVC!!!
  8. Thanks for the help and ideas. Nate - too bad i saved my moment of spasticity for the classifier! One miss really hammers you! Sparing my spastic moment (of too high-grip no trigger, jerk/miss) I was real happy with the match, and had a blast. Not too bad for my first time. Matt
  9. Thanks for the ideas. alcornl: - any idea where I might find micro-bearing tape? Auto supply store or ???? Thanks again. Matt
  10. My Para P-16 limited is getting abused by the aluminum of my 012! After this weekend's match, I noticed the wear on the fram (right side) and the bottom of the trigger guard. This gun is no range queen, but all those silver-gray lines make me cringe... Anyone have similar issues? I am thinking duct tape over the edges of the aluminum plate (for the red-neck carbon-fibre look) but I'm open to other options! Thanks, Matt
  11. SiG Lady, An office mate spent two years in Russia (Church Mission), so I asked him... I thought it would be would be intriguing. So the answer is No, I don't speak, and can't even fake it over the internet very well.... Matt
  12. In Russian: (transliteration) Accuracy = Tochnosti Power = Vlasti Speed = Skorost Matt
