Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I tried Universal in my 40 open gun and it did clean everything out of the comp
  2. I've shot powder coated bulleys through my 40 cal. open gun. I had absolutely no gunk or lead in the comp. after 150 rounds of 172 power factor loads. I use Harbor freight powder coat, I love it.
  3. Lee 147 SWC, 50/50 WW/ range scrap, heat treated. Shot in 40 open gun with 6.1 Universal or 8.1 VV 3N37 when available
  4. Lee just came out with a replacement primer feeder that eliminates the problem with the primer slider. I replaced mine on my loadmaster and it feeds primers slick as can be.
  5. Thanks guys, I'll take a close look at the hammer and check to see if the hammer is catching on the sear. George
  6. I have the problem regardless of what primer I use including Federals.
  7. The recoil spring was replaced with a new Wolff spring about 300 rounds ago. I doubt the lockup is the problem as I've been shooting this gun since the early ninetys. I think I'll try some Win. White box just to rule out my reloads. I just don't know what else to try.
  8. Firing pin channel is clean, hammer spring replaced, no adjustment on trigger. Thanks
  9. I've got a TZ75 that I get intermittent light primer strikes. I replaced the firing pin with one of Hennings long pins and removed the firing pin block. I've checked for high primers but thats not the problem. The problem is random and can happen at any time. Anyone have any ideas where to look next?
  10. I've found 7625 to work real well with a plated 115 gr. George H
  11. Thanks Guys I think it would go well in production also. The grip fits me better than any other double stack i've ever handled. Thanks again
  12. What divisions would the SR9 qualify for?
