Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I've been shooting Clays in 9MM minor for about 8 years without any problems. 3.2 Clays OAL 1.135 147 CMJ Montana Gold. It is a super flat and really nice load. This load has worked very well in my Glock 34 and a friends XDM 5.25
  2. Would you believe I recently acquired one. It had a very low round count and looked flawless. Went to the range and it shot perfect. Super flat with 7.2 autocomp, 124 MG, CCi primer at 1.165 OAL. 169 PF. I have to say Mr. Hardy, this is the best shorty gun I have ever shot. I don't know why you stopped building them, but it is a shame.
  3. +1 - I switched from HS6 115 grain to WAC 124 grain, and love it - soft and handles well. Jack Another great powder is 7625, very soft and flat like autocomp.
  4. Any chance your going to get back to building those world famous guns Mr. Hardy?
  5. Sam, running any matches this year? This is johnny jackson.

  6. Sam, Let me know if you need me to RO this year. I will try and make arrangements to attend. Johnny You can give me a call at 910-551-1425
  7. I use Brazos tuned mags, never once a problem. Dawson is selling something new on his site, it is a kit to tune your on mags, might be worth looking at.
  8. What happened Daniel, I sell you an open gun and the boss wan't let you shot it. Had to go and buy yourself a new one I see. Bring that steelmaster with you to the Jan match, I would like to shot it. Johnny
  9. I'm using 7.4gr. IMR 7625, 125 gr. Zero, Remington 38 super nickel brass, and federal primer. PF 172. Very Very Very Flat.
  10. Piper, Check the comp for carbon and lead build-up especially were the bullet passes through the comp. Sometimes you can get enough build up that the bullet does not have sufficent clearance through the comp.
  11. I'm the proud owner of a brand new Dawson Open Gun. I have been waiting a long time for this gun, but it was worth the wait. It is the flatest shooting open gun I have ever shot. The modern technology that Dave has put into this gun is amazing.
  12. I couldn't agree more with your statement.
  13. I think during the summer months, short, fast, and moderate round count stages are the way to go. If most shooters can show up at 0900 and packing up by 1200-1300, you will have shooters show up. We try and setup or stages depending on the season of year and it works pretty good. I guess this would depend on where you live also.
