  1. My open gun (top) is in both super comp and 9mm. He made the cuts on both comps match EXACTLY like each other. So I have options. If I want to shoot 9minor I just change barells. I could always shoot major too if I had too. I really love it. Shoots really good.

His plate gun is a 38 super.

  2. I recently had this exact problem with my gun that had been 100% for years. It was the extractor. EXTREMLY agrivating but then became almost comical. I would aim two inches high and two inches left and drill the paster dead center , then aim normally and shoot one ragged hole.

I would lock the slide back and try to move the extractor forward and back in the the slide.

Here are multiple groups that I had all flyers were the first shot out if the gun.

  3. Don't put them in a plastic bag like I did and seal it. Looked at them after a week or more there WAS moisture in the bag and it discolored the once clean cases. I retumbled the brass put it back in a bag but didn't seal it. Been clean and most likely dry a couple weeks later.

  4. Just bought two pounds of n320 at sportsmans today. They had 3n37 too but was only allowed two pounds so went with the n320.

Bought tight group last week. Pretty much can buy as much red/green dot , bullseye, 700/800 x. As I want It's everywhere in montana.

  5. Tried it again today with 1.230 - 1.235. Now instead of stopping on the back of the hood they stop in the ramp itself. Only have to barely tap the slide and then it closes on round. Probably would work with a 10 pound spring , but I've given up. I have area 1 in a couple of months and need to have something working to at least practice with in the meantime.

Ordered a case of 124 fmj's and they came today. So I'm good. I know those work and I can go back to 1.245 which I know runs. Thanks everyone.

  6. Got 3 more pounds of clays yesterday here in montana LGS. That makes 6 picked up in 3 weeks and that's just because of my schedule. Didn't need anything from town so I didn't go for a week. All new stock. I just keep checking every time I go and they seem to have a little bit of something.

  7. The steel challenge is not uspsa. The majority of targets require two hits not one. If you can't put a comp on your gun you add weight. Plain and simple. If light was the end all be all Bob Vogal wouldn't put a lead filled weight (flashlight) on the end of his gun (a glock which is pretty dang light). He shot the pro am with it as well. Which is a single round per target match also.

  8. Thanks guys. Going to give it a try on Friday. Loaded a couple hundred between 1.230 and 1.235 Hard to get consistent lengths with the tips of these. I'll check back wether they work or not.

Checo......been using grams springs and followers for years as well. Good point though.
