  1. Dry tumble only over here. Don’t like the multi step process of wet tumbling.
  2. Are you using a dillon powder measure? If so, how does 3n38 meter? Any noticable flash coming out of the comp or muzzle? Thanks for the replies. Surely appreciate it. I just picked up a jug of autocomp thinking that's where i'll settle since everyone else I know is using it and have been happy with it, but it's nice to have a backup powder and load worked up just in case of some obama type shortage happens again.
  3. https://tsi301.com/tsi321main.htm TSI 321 for me. Been using it on guns and fishing reels as well as certain parts of my dillon presses for years.
  4. Man that's fantastic! So did the gun stay flatter with less recoil the higher you went in load? Does the dot stay in the window upon double tapping?
  5. Thanks for the reply sir. Will be loading 9 major soon and i'm excited to work it up. Just not exactly sure where to start. I do know 7.2 @ 1.165 is about where everyone is happy with and achieving Major PF.
  6. This sucks! MGs have been my favorite for the last 15 years. Been checking almost daily multiple times from 4am-12pm.
  7. I think i'm going to order a sleeve and test them out.
  8. Also, one more question, did your groupings improve or stay the same as your worked up your power factor load?
  9. Thanks for sharing @Guitarmageddon Question, how or where did you get the min and max load data for these powders? All I can find for WAC was min and max for standard loads which was something like 4.8-5.5.
  10. Excellent! Thanks for the link to the file!
  11. In my extensive research on this site, i've read that Brazos is EE. But who knows. For all we know these parts all come out of one factory and get rebranded throughout the industry.
  12. Thanks! Will most likely choose between EGW or EE. I'm just not sure it'll be matched to my frame and i'd rather risk fitting the parts myself.
  13. I think that's the part i'm most excited about. These guns are all about learning, if you choose to.
  14. Thanks! That's interesting that the hammers make different sounds!
  15. Thanks! Yep the price difference between kits is pretty negligble.
  16. Been doing some research and it seems like both EGW and Extreme Engineering make good ignition kits for the 2011 platform. Which would you guys prefer? Looking to get about a 2-2.5# crisp trigger pull. Maybe adjust the sear spring to sub 2# after a bit of seat time.
  17. See that’s more realistic. But a match and a half seems a bit short.
  18. Thanks bud. I’m gonna run the next match with the comp springs and see how long they last. The website says to check the spring after 1000 rounds so we’ll see
  19. We zero at 15 yds for uspsa. May experiment with 20yds soon
  20. Index finger for me at the start of transition to next location. Mag insertion as my run slows down.
  21. Watch Jerry Miculek’s YouTube on how to speed shoot. He goes over in depth all of his mechanics and reasons behind his grip! it has helped us immensely! He’s a legend
  22. Custom rounds is the best reason to get back into reloading, followed by savings over inflated ammo prices! primers are coming back down to realistic prices
  23. gotcha. Ya i can get between 23-24 in there. And even if i can get the 24th in, if I Barney load at make ready, its so tight the slide can’t rack that first round properly. what other basepad/springs do you have good experience with? I might just make it a dedicated +6 and change the spring and follower over to an MBX if i can.
  24. I have the SRO on my slide and I’m very happy with it! I hope to try the 507Comp this weekend
