Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Billy reviews them and others. Probably worth a watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxDzWdmcH9Q&t=39
  2. Thanks. I've never tried them but I've heard good things. But they are a good bit more expensive than SV in bulk.
  3. I use supervel 124 remans but I'm not married to it. It chrono'd pretty consistently for me and I haven't really had any problems thru my shadow 2 w 13lb mainspring so I've stuck with it. But please share names of other remanufacturers that are just as cost effective and have a PF around 130ish so I can check them out.
  4. Yes. At first spy mode only worked about 20% of the time but they upgraded the firmware that allows you to select the model of the ROs timer so it now works almost flawlessly. I attach it to the back of my belt at 5 O'Clock and if the RO uses one of the 4 or 5 timers on the list in the shooters global timer, then it nails the stage time exactly or within 0.01 sec of the official time.
  5. I've used a few liquid chalks including Petzl and more recently Pro Grip and like Pro Grip the best so far.
  6. No, not really. But I start with it really aggressive (it's either 30 or 60 grit, I can't recall without going to look at my supplies) so it could probably use some reduction in grippiness. It's almost too grippy since the SC pieces don't rub off, they just stay there and bite into my skin. But I'll take that tradeoff over having to redo it over and over.
  7. I've silicon carbided mine a few times. It wears off but can be sanded down and reapplied. Also, on a different gun, I painted over the silicon carbide with primer and spray paint and it seems to keep it from wearing -almost no noticeable wear of the silicon carbide thru about 5k rounds on my shadow 2.
  8. Yes. I should have mentioned that you also need a different guide rod in the S2 Compact if you go to a different type of recoil spring with various weights. At least according to my understanding of Cajun's website. I'm not sure what replacement springs you can purchase to use with the captured system. Finally, I guess both of my fuzzy recollections were correct, the P07 and P10C appear to use the same recoil spring and guide rod. https://cajungunworks.com/product/97040-fits-p-07/ https://cajungunworks.com/product/15rs-recoil-spring-for-p-0709/
  9. Actually it might be the P10C instead of the P07. Be sure to check Cajun gun works. It's been a month or so since I bought one so I can't recall exactly.
  10. Hammer springs yes. Recoil no. I think it's a P07 spring but double check on Cajuns website with the "does this fit my model" button.
  11. You didn't change the extractor spring recently did you? If I install an extra power extractor spring in my Shadow 2 without trimming 1 to 1.5 coils from it I have trouble loading the first round with several of my mags.
  12. Or just buy 5k online and be done with it: https://supervelammunition.com/9mm-luger-124-gr.-fmj-certified-select-/
  13. https://patriotdefense.com/patriot-defense-9mm-barrel-reaming-service/ https://patriotdefense.com/patriot-defense-9mm-barrel-reaming-hard-coating-melonite-dlc/ Edit: sorry. Just realized you said 45, not 9mm
  14. Something like this might help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AdlJHaImdtU&t=4
