Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. I bought this and the sear was a touch too short. Hammer follow (wouldn't go to half cock since it was too short) all day on a 3.5# pull with zero tuning to the pre and post travel on a Staccato P. Will be cutting a long sear at some point for the pistol.
  2. I didn't use the 170. Just because they made that call doesn't mean I have to accept it. I kept shooting my division LO.
  3. I have grown to like the Go. I have things I know I want to work on, so I have saved presets for them. I no longer need my phone to use the timer. Pact II isn't as easy to use at this point for me. Competition is confusing as well from my perspective.
  4. I need to do this. The velcro is a poor idea.
  5. Yep. It was on me. I did speak with the MD. It was my ignorance thus my fault. Was just sharing my first major blunder & match.
  6. I kinda want to get into it! Not sure I can afford the ammo though. Is there a 'reman' or 'new' ammo you're buying?
  7. I decided to shoot LO for Texas Open this last weekend and made a big mistake. When going to Chrono I was unaware of the fact it isn't JUST chrono. It is a gear check in general. I didn't want to unload my mags for them to use so instead of using what was on my belt I asked my cousin to grab an empty from my bag. He pulled a training 170 and I handed it over. Straight to Open, do not pass go, you are shooting the wrong caliber. Funny enough I ended up placing higher in Open minor than I would've in Limited Optics. Lesson learned but I was real mad for most of the day after that and it effected my shooting.
  8. I've tried the 125 TC, 147 FP and now I'm digging into their 135 round nose. Thus far all are very accurate. No issues with weight being off. I once got a clipped bullet. Like the bottom half or something, completely coated. Was slightly odd but I just threw it into the bucket.
  9. I use them in my PCC and 2011s. Shadow 2 with an 11.5# hammer spring needed to double tap 1 in 10 or so. Very important to make sure they're all the way down. I was loading with a 750 as well.
  10. how in the world have I done this to myself again? First the Shadow 2, Rival and now an MPX. All with throat issues.
  11. Also curious what loading would look like. Should I stay away from coated bullets? Presently loading 125gr behind 4.1gr of cleanshot for a 133pf out of a 5" barrel. Thanks, J
  12. .. I'm PCCurious and I already have a suppressed Copperhead black I use as a nightstand gun with extra mags. So I bought the full size. What are the items I should plan to have to run PCC in USPSA. I know I need to grab a barrel flag and bag (could use recommendations on something that is fast to get it in and out to not hold people up). I suspect I'll need a mag caddy. I picked this up second hand and it isn't in my hands just yet but what are some parts I should expect to replace/upgrade to make it reliable assuming I'm cleaning after every match. Thanks, J
  13. Well s#!t. Definitely scratching down the side of the case.
  14. This is odd- I just swapped to a MA die because I was having this issue with a Lee die. Fixed my issue as of the last few hundred. Also sorted the issue I was having with the bottom of the case being too wide to case gauge. I haven't noticed streaking but now I'll be checking.
  15. I have a 10 MOA and it's big.. bordering too big anything over 10 yards for me. It is super bright at it's lowest but it is amazingly crisp. Hope it is to your liking!
