How does it hold up shooting 9major?

Sinister4 summed it up pretty well. I use the 17/34 captured tungsten rod in my Gen 5 g34. Don’t notice too much of a difference between the 2 lengths themselves. I opted for the “17 length” so I could have a spring cut done to my g34. Purely aesthetic, but I think it makes it look nice.

Every single MPX I have ever seen used in matches has some sort of malfunction, nearly religiously. It’s finicky with some ammo, and in my opinion, there is far too much daily/constant maintenance required to keep it running.

The Timney is a great option. Don’t sleep on Apex either. I’ve seen dramatic improvement in not only glocks, but S&W’s with it as well. Plus, there are many police departments all over the country that actually use the Apex system in their duty guns as they have proven extremely reliable. As far as adding weight to the frame, you could always go the 3D print method and leave space in the grip similar to the X5 Legion.

I was looking at the Romeo 3 XL. But don’t have any experience with it. It appears to have the biggest window out there. I tried the Romeo Zero for another gun and I absolutely hated it tbh. Would want to hear more feedback on other Sig/other optics before I commit to something

I’m in Chicopee, MA. I’ve only shot USPSA (started earlier this year). Don’t have too much experience with any other types of matches. RI is do-able, just a drive ya know. I’m not really interested in shooting IDPA.

Anyone have any recommendations for red dots for a czechmate? I have the C-More it came with, but have been looking around for a smaller footprint dot. would like to hear what anyone else is running and the pros and cons. Thanks!

Hey all, (please delete if not in the correct section or not allowed) With the USPSA season slowing down due to the weather, I’m wondering what clubs in NE (mainly MA) are considering putting on any matches in the near future? I groom practiscore almost daily, but I often find that some matches are announced on short notice. Mainly asking due to having to request time off a few weeks in advance to secure the time off. Any info or guidance would be much appreciated!!

Theres absolutely no difference from before to now…The fraction of a gram the paint weighed makes no difference in performance or reliability.

Hey @m1agirl, I also had this issue with my TS2. I tried sanding down the mags but no great improvement. I ended up taking the grips off and seeing where the mags were catching at. I was able to determine the mags would hang up on the back portion of the frame where it meets the magwell. I took my fine bit dremel to the area and stripped the black paint off and smoothed it out. I no longer have an issue with my mags not dropping free. hope this is explained well and offers you a solution to your issue!
