Looks for Match

Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. jury seems pretty split. In the nay sayers opinions is it something that just is a few modifications short of good or is the system not good enough?
  2. i run 2 SRO's and a 507 Comp as a backup work best for my eyes i 507 is green i thought it would be better my slight astigmatism makes the red SRO work better for me
  3. this makes a lot of sense for a few pennies it aint worth spending hours fiddling cleaning gunk out.
  4. good to know maybe ive been selling them short ill take a second look for sure
  5. that the coating wears off into the port/comp? if so that sounds like a pain to clean.... what about for like my artemis that has the sightblock but the blast chamber type deal in the front of the sight block
  6. i guess that was more along the line of what i'm really trying to figure out what are the disadvantage and advantages to coated vs plated
  7. i double up on my ears and try to shoot outdoor ranges haha. i just didnt know if since technically there is less area for the gas to escape vs a big single port (like my erbus barrel) and if it required kind of a hybrid approach
  8. i have a new "lucky 7" ported 2011 coming in i'd like to see what you guys would advise load wise. i know the comps are a little different but should i be looking at more of a 124 lower PF ammo like i run in my artemis or the "hotter" 115 type stuff for the compensator?
  9. new to reloading and i've seen the coated pills around i just dont have enough experience to know if they are detrimental for longevity of the gun and/or accuracy. thanks
  10. i looked at JEM a while ago i didnt know they werent offering the short blocks thats good to know. im just not a huge fan of the brazos slide cuts
  11. i second this!! also GEM sells a great shortblock if you want a more classic design or to go do your own its not worth the investment get a GEM or Brazos shortblock and put it together the shortblock gives you a fitted frame/slide/barrel which are the parts that need REAL fitting
  12. WOW thats a first! i run either SRO or the 507 Comps personally the SRO works better for me because its bigger and thinner(around the outside) any insight on why you like the DPP more?
  13. the MBX followers look like a crappy 3D print. at least the ones I've had and seen. i guess im missing something
