BMAB10
Hello all. I have a brand new shadow 1 with no modifications with about 200 problem free live fire rounds. However in dry fire, a single action trigger pull will cause the hammer to fall only to the half cock position about 50% of the time. I’ve removed the overtravel screw completely for troubleshooting purposes. I can get in contact with czcustom this coming week, but if it is something easy I could fix myself without having to send it back, that would be my preference. Thank you for any help. Silverscooby27
I’m still new to the shadows too, but it seems to me like you have to press the trigger in farther to get the hammer to go fully down. Maybe I’m wrong, but that’s what it seems like to me. Something to try if you haven’t already.
Ludde
Do you have the trigger with a over travel set screw. If yes then back that out a bit and try again
BMAB10
The trigger overtravel screw was removed completely to eliminate it as a variable, but the problem remains.
hal1955
Try smoothing or rounding off the bottom edges on the disconnector ears. Easy does it, just break the sharp edges.
