coatessey
My wife has ordered me a Glock 20. This will be me first Glock and I have heard that lead is not typically a good thing in their poly rifling barrels. I was wondering if anyone has had any issues with hitek coated lswc’s in their Glocks? I plan on shooting 155 GR hitek coated LSWCBB’s and for now utilizing what’s left on my W231. Is Bluedot the best to utilize with 10mm moving forward?
TrackCage
I've never loaded hi tek in my G20, but I have in every other Glock I own (17, 19, 34, 22, 21). I will load hi tek for my G20 when I run out of the other rounds I made for it a while back. Nothing wrong with hi tek in a poly barrel. Glock is mostly saying no uncoated lead, but even then, many do it without any issue. As long as the projectile is properly sized for your bore, the concern is largely a non issue. Edit: I use mostly power pistol and longshot for full power 10mm loads Edited December 18, 2017 by TrackCage
jcc7x7
My 20 eats Bayou 180's or 200gr bullets without any problems I use WST in the 200's and Clay Dot in the 180's, loaded to 172-175 PF for use in USPSA "No children or animals were hurt in this process"! coatessey
Thanks. What loads do use with WST? That may work better for me as I can use wst for my 45 loads as well.
