223 trim die scratching up the necks

Dillon has polished my trim die a few times already after this has happened in the past.  Just trying to see why this happens though.  After maybe 20k rounds it starts doing this.

Sorry for the bad pic.  It's not that, it's the vertical lines that look like light glare.

This is usually caused by brass deposits on the inside of the die. Use a chamber brush and an ammonia-based solvent, such as Sweets 7.62 or Hoppe's #9 to scrub the neck portion of the die, as per the solvent instructions.

I think this is "galling", the transfer of a softer metal to a harder metal under pressure and movement due to lack of enough lube. Do what Dillon above says or gently use a dremel with a small polishing bit.
