  1. Welcome! If you haven't already, check out the River City Shooters club. They put on good matches that us boys from the Deep South drive up for. Don't miss the River City Shootout, their big match of the year.
  2. I've started using the Patriot Defense tunable brake. It's light weight (2.1 oz) and works very well. I was able to tune it to a variety of rifles, 10.3", 12.5', 14.5" and 16". I'm very impressed and happy with it.
  3. Yes it would be. I didn't like the cloudy, to me, glass on the Strike Eagle. The P4xi glass is much clearer. Not as clear as my Razor but much better than the Strike Eagle. It's good glass for the price point for sure. I put it on a 12.5" for a bay gun. Several guys I shoot with are looking at picking one up after shooting mine.
  4. Don't think you can go wrong with either. I have and shot a DVC last year and had no issues with it at all. Have also shot a Brazos gun and would have no trouble purchasing one they've worked on. I'd lean towards the DVC between the two because of the reduced grip and I like the looks. I realize that's a personal thing and a grip can be added to the Brazos.
  5. Stinger Supremacy has some good light weight options. Have a 10" on an SBR and just picked up their 15" vanquisher for $86.99 shipped. They're basically a Midwest clone.
  6. Go to your local WalMart and buy the Perfecta .223. At $14 for 50 rds it's hard to beat. It shoots good, it's clean and pretty accurate out to 300 yds.
  7. Just found this. Please add me, A-85241. Limited
  8. This is going to be a good match! Not too far for the peeps in Houston, San Antonio and Austin. Hell, make a long weekend out of it and take the wife or family to South Padre Island after the shoot.
  9. I can't see the classifieds anymore either, could about 2 hours ago.
  10. I've got one in.40 and love the thing. It is not mag or ammo sensitive like my Trojan is, shoots and functions with them all. Been thinking of grabbing a 9 before they're all gone myself.
  11. I've been using, and been happy with, a Blade-tech Speed Rig holster in limited. Used one for my G35 and now using one for my Edge. They're plenty fast on the draw and give me a better feeling of security for the gun.
  12. Hello from about as far south as you can go in this great state. Shot my first 3 Gun event a few weeks ago and have since shot another along with my first USPSA match. To say I'm hooked would be an understatement. Been shooting most of my life and don't know why it took me so long to get into these games. Been reading the forums and there's a bunch of knowledge shared here. Looking forward to learning and shooting much more.
