Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Those are badass. Are they as expensive as they look? LOL
  2. If you don't have a gut, it can be tough to keep it high enough. Mine will slip down and get in the way of my pistol mags on the front of my belt. I'm actually going to make another strap for it to go around my neck to hold it up.
  3. The wife and I both got them about a week ago. You can definitely tell it's an entry level scope. It's also not a true 1x More like 1.25 or so. The reticle is daylight bright on 11. It's not as clear as my Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4x was, but overall for the money, I'm happy with it until I fall into a smoking deal on a Swaro (as if that's a possibility LOL)
  4. On the bright side the normal lower would let you have short barrel 5.56 uppers, etc ,etc
  5. Yep, electronic trigger would cross the line to machine gun easily.
  6. A 90 degree offset will nullify the need for those calculations.
  7. Just run a bolt on the side of your gun lol
  8. I epoxied one grovtec base and I just threaded one... Both are holding solid.
  9. I didn't read all 5 pages...but I've shot IDPA matches at a range that enforced a no muzzle above the berm rule. They'd previously had a round leave the range and land in a car on a dealer's lot. It was annoying but quite transparent. It wasn't an instant DQ, you got a warning first, only if it continued to be an issue would it go further.
  10. I just got a SSS Brass Limited Magwell and my TTI extensions are hanging up hard on the back edge (right where the screw holds the magwell on). I thought maybe it was something about my frame causing it, so I swapped the magwell over to my wife's M&P and it hangs up mags with that frame as well. On both guns, I can smack the mags and seat them, but then it requires a good rip to get them back out, certainly not dropping free. I'm guessing I'll just need to take a file to it and move the rear edge back some....not what I was expecting when I ordered this magwell.
  11. Is there a shim kit for the Sportsman stock? I don't see one on their website. Considering that the Sportsman hasn't been released yet, I'm guessing we'll have to wait and see just what is available for it.
  12. The Sportsman does not have adjustable comb/heel. The Field and Tactical are adjustable. The field and tactical also have Hi-viz sights. And the Sportsman only comes with 1 choke.
  13. Not at Dicks, but the local Gander Mt. had several, because I looked at one. Sold them all before Thanksgiving. They were going for $1299. My local Dicks had the field model for $949.99 on Black Friday with their $100 off any gun over $1000. That's a sale they run pretty regularly though. No tacticals though.
