Finally read the FAQs (3/11)

  1. Im looking for 10.7 for a 208 AMAX. I just loaded 9mm with the powder measure so I am pretty sure there are no issues there. White cube is there and intact.
  2. Does anyone have experience with 1680 out of a dillon powder measure? It is a super fine powder but I am getting charges ALL OVER THE PLACE! Spreads from 12.6 to 9.2. Im using the pistol powder bar and AK powder drop
  3. That’s crazy!! Like i mentioned i just got mine. Hopefully it’s squared away now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  4. Maybe you have and just didn’t know it. I know many companies, industry and not, whom owners are on phones all day with customers and vendors. Maybe i see a different side though since I’ve been in this industry so long. In addition, i feel like i have been more than fair in the assessment. I’m a previous customer and have given them credit where credit is due. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. I completely agree with you on the shipping errors. And the other issues I ran into. The difference is how they fix the error's. There were errors with shipping, shipping costs, and lack of knowledge or whatever they want to call it, for making the errors on the complete conversion package. The issue is not in that, it's the fact that they want to put blame on an intermediary shipping company and employees at their own business. Both are a direct reflection regardless whether they want it to be or not. And I "stood in line" for quite some time, which really was not my biggest concern as I'm in the middle of wedding planning and purchasing a new house haha. As far as the "rollercoaster" goes it looks like a very well thought out machine to fix a lot of issues from the 1050. We did spend close to an hour on the phone yesterday with Anthony though because apparently the machine was not setup properly and randomly wouldn't index causing double charges. My buddy was on the phone with him and next thing I know he has the press apart and is filing and sanding on something.... Like I tried to make clear in my initial post, I am not trying to "bash" Jay or Mark7, rather state facts of the experience. Jay has always stepped up, punctiliously, when we needed help from him prior. However, this has been going on for 3-4 weeks now and I havent heard from him when his employee said she'd make sure he'd call me asap to discuss the problems. I have a lot of faith in these guys. Their making quality equipment and I'm sure still learning on the way, but CS and Sales knowledge is huge and seems overlooked atleast in this current situation.
  6. No reason to remind me. I understand where your coming from and I could almost guarantee the margins are really small. It still doesn't mean that a company shouldnt fix mistakes. Look at the development and growth of Vortex by their business model. Now it is a bit different because they are most likely to get repeat purchases and there are large margins in optics when just talking production costs and not r&d. Whereas, Mark7 is pretty much a one time purchase and future purchases are add-ons, upgrades, and parts. However, that doesnt really mean much when we are talking CS. That customer could additionally sell presses for the company whether by word of mouth locally or via forums/social media/etc. In the same breath, it works the other way as well. Perfect example is when I got my SVI, I was so pumped and showed a lot of my buddies and in one week I sold 3 more SVI's for the company. Like I said, I will never trash the company. The drive is solid as hell and the new press looks just as good of quality. After my dealings previously with Jay, like I mentioned initially, I beleve there is just some kind of communication error between employees and Jay. Like I mentioned as well things on their website were setup a little bit different in Feb when I ordered and that change may be the part of confusion
  7. Blackwater Precision will be on site and are offering a nice little package. their website is blackwaterprecision.com.. Pick what you need, enter 3GNNats2018 and save 5%. Check "pickup in store" for free shipping! Their ammo is top of the line and added AA's and slugs to their site to be a one stop shop!
  8. I've been a Mark VII customer for about 2 years. A buddy and me bought an autodrive for our 1050 and it was awesome! We had some issues with the order and they fixed it. We had issues with the system, Jay facetimed with us. The CS was amazing. Fast forward to my Evo purchase experience SO FAR..... We pre-ordered 2/19 and just received the press last week. A lot of people were upset about wait times.. I didnt mind besides the fact that I was told twice about ship dates without even requesting them myself. They missed both really bad, but I get it. New press, newer company, etc.... When they call to collect the rest of the money, they tell me that unfortunately they didnt charge me enough in shipping and that I would have to pay more to have the product shipped. They said it was because of the middle man shipping software that they used and that it was not my fault or theirs. Working in this industry from a CS standpoint, I would have made mention to let the customer know there was a mistake, but then I'd say that's on us and we will just take it out our end. I questioned the issue, but at this point I just wanted to complete the transaction. I ordered the EVO, 1050 to EVO kit, Toolhead, and EVERYTHING to changeover to .223. When it arrives there is no conversion kit pieces at all. I call and they say "we'll get it taken care of and get parts out to you" following that I get an email saying there are additional pieces I have to buy for the casefeed and MBF. Their website has been changed around quite a bit since Feb and now packages are different regardless when I ordered I made sure to specify. I'm still waiting to see what/if their going to do to fix it and I will update. It seems to me they are having some shipping and CS growing pains as they start to become a larger company. I will give Jay the benefit of the doubt because the above and beyond CS he provided previously.
  9. When I got the drive for my 1050 their CS was amazing. To summarize my current status with the Evo... 8 months to arrive after being promised different month dates 3 different times. Machine shipped last week. When I called to pay, they told me " they didnt charge me enough in shipping" and would need to charge more haha. I wanted to be done with the transaction finally so whatever. I did the pre-order, which they have changed things package and cost wise since. I ordered the conversion from 1050-Evo, the press, spare toolhead, and conversion kit to convert EVERYTHING to .223. I opened the box and they "forgot" to send me the conversion kit. Then I call and they say I now owe them more money for parts that werent included or something of that nature. If that were the case, dont you think at one point in time in 8 months that someone would say "he doesnt have everything he needs on this order" and call to let them know? It's not like I could be shopping for aftermarket parts for the press similar to what people do for the 1050. It's a bad road to start down with them being a newer company. I can understand small/start-up, not much cash flow, but if this happens to more people besides me, I cant see them being around to long sadly. Their engineering is amazing and they took on a big project, thats for sure. But sometimes eating a portion of a profit to take care of people and keep them spreading the word of the CS and product pays for itself in dividends. Look at the CS structures of companies like Wilson Combat, Vortex Optics, and, of course, Dillon. I worked for WC. The first thing I was taught from a sales aspect was: under promise, over deliver. Take care of them after the sale. I had people say their grip screw was loose and opposed to telling them to tighten it, we'd send them a label, get it back, tighten it, and ship it back to them
  10. Still waiting for updates to see if MarkVII makes it right. I ordered on 2/19. I ordered a 9mm, 1050 to Evo kit for the autodrive, and EVERYTHING(accordingly to the girl I ordered through, not Misty) to changeover to .223. I just received the machine last week after similar information as some of the previous posters. The wait. it is what it is, I'm not going crazy over here after waiting almost 2 years for my SVI. Then when the girl calls to collect CC info. She proceeds to tell me that they "undercharged" me for shipping and that I would have to pay more. They blamed their "shipping software" which is an outside company and said it wasn't my fault or theirs'. Soooo again, whatever, I want to be done with the whole transaction, get the press and start reloading but did not have much ambition to deal with them moving forward. I receive the machine this week and open it up. I got all the parts previously mentioned and toolhead, but no changeover kit for the .223 and I also asked the girl who initially took my order to swap the 9mm dies for .223 because I already had 9mm dies... Lee 9mm dies showed up. I'm obviously pretty frustrated and call today to let them know what went on. I talk to an employee there who I wont name, but have had great cs from in the past, and they say "im sorry, we'll get this fixed for you, let me talk to some people". Later, I get an email acknowledging they forgot to ship some parts but also said there are also parts that I need to purchase in order to convert it fully lol. Their website has changed quite considerably from when I initially did my pre-order and now things are packaged differently and I'm not sure if they forgot about their initial customers or what. When I ask "is this everything I need to change from 9mm to .223(shell plate, MBF plate, etc)" And the employee says yes that means I should get everything to change over. I honestly hate the fact that Im even having to write this but I've heard of similar things from others regarding orders/shipping errors and even the employee acknowledged it on the phone and said they were working on correcting this. I also hate saying that I wish there was something else on the market similar in quality to this evo, because I would have asked for a refund during the whole "shipping" conversation. I hate it because they support the sports and industry and came in offering a hobbyist reloader the ability to load at a much higher rate of production and ease. The tech is amazing. The people, like Jay, who I dealt with initially when my buddy and I bought our auto drive provided awesome CS. We bought the drive and they lowered the price like the following week or 2, we emailed to say WTF and he didnt even give us a chance. He said "pick out accessories to equal up the difference and well get them out". When we had issues with our drive, I face timed with him and got it resolved. I am not sure what happened to them to turn in the direction they did. i really hope things get turned around and wish the best for them because this industry tends to eat it's own pretty damn quickly and more so over the past 2 years then the 7 total I've been in it. I am still waiting to see if the issues get resolved and I will update then. It seems as they continue to grow their starting to have shipping issues as well as order processing/cs and I'll give Jay the benefit of the doubt since previosuly he went above and beyond for us and heard the same from other Mark7 owners
  11. I will check out these things.... There is only about 5k through the machine if that helps. I did talk to a friend that recommended swaging deeper as he found that it was not set up properly from Dillon. In response to the post though, I am going extremely slow while loading. Not saying what you mentioned isn't right, I'm just saying I definitely was not trying to go fast lol. Also I have heard and seen a lot of inconsistencies with Winchester as well. But its just what I have right now.
  12. Hey guys! I tried searching for previous threads as I'm sure this has came up before but my google skills must be lacking... I loaded up about 1000 rounds today and I would say I wasted about 100 primers with them going sideways into the case. Primers we're win sr, problematic brass was almost all federal, but some wolf and lake city. I talked to a friend who said that the swager may need set deeper from what dillon set it at. Any other tips or tricks yall have found. It probably took damn near 3 hrs to do 1k as I lost almost all faith and was checking almost every case!!
  13. Yes, It definitely will! In fact, I wore out a slide stop shortly into starting USPSA because for 4 years I had only performed slide lock reloads. Your having that much trouble dropping the slide with your support thumb when chambering a live round? If your trying to do it in dry fire, that makes sense. A lot of people are in the opinion that dropping a slide on a 1911 with an empty chamber isn't a good idea for longevity of the gun, but I am not a SME. Im not familiar with the Heritage, but I thought DW used pretty big Slide Lock levers? I do not believe there are lighter plunger tube spring's out there so I would just focus on getting rounds through it and repeating slide lock reloads as much as possible.
  14. Has anyone attended, placed, and received anything yet? I placed 3rd overall in Classic and according to USA's FB, awards were sent out immediately but I haven't seen anyone posting up photos of their awards
