caz41
My wife is going to shoot this spring and see what she thinks. Question being is it correct that a female can legally have the DOH holster for IDPA?
Jane
Yes Rulebook page 33: Holsters for females mayposition the breech face of a pistol or rear of the cylinder of a revolver up to 1 ½” below the center of the belt. page 35: NOTE: Holsters for females are exempt from F. criteria [no drop loop holsters], but maynot cant the handgun away from the body past 90 ° to the ground. Jim Watson
She can have 1 1/2" of drop, center of belt to breechface, and as much offset as will not cant the gun butt outward. I don't know how close the BT DOH follows that spec, but probably nobody would ask her or start measuring around her hip.
MTBfarms
Yes Get a DOH. She will love it, and hopefully will take up the sport.
