olp73
Hi ……………if I want to built a dedicated .22lr AR upper which, (or there might be several) one will allow me to totally copy a 5,56 upper right down to the hand guard, barrel profile, scope mount you name it? Graham Smith
Olympic makes complete 22LR uppers so they probably have the components as well. Nordic components allows you to put AR parts on a Ruger 10/22 receiver. There are at least two companies who make drop-in 22LR conversion kits for AR's. Several companies make complete 22LR ARs, AKs, M4s, etc.
iainmcphersn
Depends on the barrel profile you want to copy. Spikes Tactical has a M4 profile barrel. Link is for the full upper. Handguards can be replaced with the appropriate float tube/rail system. They also offer a dedicated 22 LR bolt system and barrel if you have a spare upper to mount them on. TMC
The Tactical Solutions upper is built on a mil-spec reciever, it should take whatever a 223 upper will.
MikeFoley
Check out these Tactical Solutions uppers, I use the LT, but the M4 weighs exactly like an M4. http://shootersconnectionstore.com/AR-22-A...-Unit-C269.aspx I will try to post a pic of mine as it stands on a dedicated lower in a few...
