If it were me, I'd run a .22 rimfire match. Especially indoors.

- Everybody can afford .22 ammo a lot easier than they can get primers/ammo for center fire.

- Effective guns are cheap and readily available (Ruger, Buckmark, S&W 22A, etc.) Most have a

- .22 guns are more family friendly. (think of the women and children! :) )

- They are just easier to shoot well. Great intro to the shooting sports.

I'd go with courses of fire (cof's) that were 5 shots. Then, even the 6 shot revolvers get a spare.

Standing start. Low ready. Finger outside of the trigger guard. Stay stationary for the shooting.

:D

Flex -What is the shooting distance at OSU Indoor Rimfire Pin Shoot ?

Going of a guess of a memory...it is probably 10-12y. If I had to guess a bit more, I'd say 12y.

How much space do you have to work with?

:D It is a 50 Ft range

If you check out my acccount on utube and look at the "MRA 12-20-2009" vids you'll see

how we do pins at this club.

We have 3 tables and run a shooter thru a total of 6 times, throw the worst time and

the lowest total is the winner. We have 2 divisions, iron sites and dot/comp guns.

I used to shoot at MRA back in the late '80s, and that guy in the Youtube video sure looks like an older and fatter version of my ol' buddy Ed Mahoney! :D
