Txkid
It is time for me to ask the experts, I am looking to purchase a CZ 75 or 85 in 9mm to use for Production and Limited Minor I am set on the CZ platform since I love the feel of the grip in my hand and love to have Ambi safety. I am not sure witch one is the best for the money And really don’t see the difference other than the extra weight with the extended dust cover, Fiber Optic Sights, with or without firing pin block and a trigger job. Is there something else I am missing? CZ 75 B $519 @ Sniper Country PX CZ 75 SP-01 $609 @ Sniper Country PX CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow $800 CZ 85 B $621 @ Sniper Country PX
3gunner
The Shadow will have the best trigger and sights out of the box. It also comes with 3 hi-caps. I have a CZ-75 SA that I shoot in 3-gun.
toddrod
You can not go wrong with any of them. Just depends on how much you want to spend. BTW, I have the CZ 85 and love it.
belus
The SPO1 will have an upswept beavertail that allows the gun to sit lower in your hand. This feature is also present in the 75B SA, but rarely occurs on the 75B or 85. I would suggest the 85 Combat, it's ambidextrous and doesn't have the firing pin block. This allows the trigger to be tuned slightly better.
pevadijk
I have a stainless 75-B and I like the balance and light feel of the 'standard' models better than the SP-01 version: just see if you can try to shoot some different versions.
Zaitsev
The Shadow is a fantastic gun. I own two myself and I just love them. The sights and the trigger are awesome out of the box and the gun is just so well balanced, it feels like there is no recoil at all. But still, you can't go wrong with any of the CZs you have mentionned.
