I Installed a JP trigger in it about 3 yrs. ago and this is the first time that this has happened.Im not sure I saved the directions. anyone know how to fix it. Thanks Dan H. Helmut
i would change out the springs (brownells $10) and slightly increase the engagement.....
stingerjg
are you using the JP hammer or the mil-spec one. I have found that the mil-spec hammer will eventually wear the jp's sear down.
kurtm
Stingerjg: Helmut is almost right, increase engagement a little, ESPECIALLY the disconector. This can be done by lightly stoneing the front leg of the disconector that rides on the trigger. Every once in a great while I have to do this to my JP triggers. I shouldn't think springs are an issue, unless the disconecter spring is weak. Like anything that is close to the edge, sometimes it will need a little tweeking. KAL
Better yet why not just call the man himself. Or Tim over there at JP also. They build a great product and have always had the time to help out when I needed to call them. JP rifles (651)426-9196
