gl
If you mount a Streamlight M-3 or M-6 on a Glock Model 34 or 35 is it far enough forward to allow you to place your left support index finger on the front of the trigger guard behind the light when mounted? Also would either of these model be forbidden as a supplimental aiming device, in any context, in IDPA, IPSC or any other 3Gun match? Thank you for your opinions and help! Trader
The M3 and M6 mount against the trigger guard, no room for your finger there. I am not sure of your rules question but someone here will know.
Nik Habicht
Illegal for USPSA --- it would be considered an external weight. I've never seen an IDPA match that allowed the lights to start mounted on the gun --- and most matches forbid attaching it after the buzzer, as a safety precaution. Three gun? No Clue! Pact-Man
Those lights are illegal for IDPA, however, they are legal at a polite society event. Adam
stingerjg
an external weight would not make it illegal in USPSA, it would make the gun fall into Open class. As would the M6 w/ the laser.

gl
LovesToShoot, I put my finger there because it works for me. Everybody has their own method and that is mine. Guy
KyleL
Kurt, I tried to fill some lithium batteries with Mercury so as to reduce recoil with my M3. I just finished putting out the fire, I do believe I upped the Lumens a bit though. KyleL
kurtm
I now just take the lithium out of the battery and then take it, they say I am much clamer. KURTM
