WST shoots softer than anything in major for both 40 and 180's and 45 and 200's, although Clays and 230's is still the sweet major load....all IMHO of course. Cheaper and widlely more available than N320, meters great, acceptably clean, low flash. TR CAre to share you data using WST. I am loking for an alternative with my current powder whihc is V V 320 deu to availabilty problems. the local merchant I deal with could not assure me when their next shipment of V V 320 will arrive. Scott G Posted January 23, 2004 Share Posted January 23, 2004 WST loads in 40 generally take about 0.1-0.2 g more than 320. Both my guns make ~170pf with 5.1 WST, Zero 180, wsr primers, 1.200.
