SinistralRifleman
I have a Benelli M1 on the way that I couldn't pass up because it was super cheap and NIB. It has the factory rifle sights on it. I've used these before and I thought they were too low and you couldn't really zero for use with slugs. So what are the better options for iron sights? Before the haterade drinkers pile on, I still have 3 Saiga-12s
J-Ho
I did the same thing. I found a good deal on one with ghost ring sights. Love the gun not crazy about the sights. I'm looking for a 20-22" vent rib barrel. I'll probably have a flip up sight milled in for slugs. The vent rib seems faster for 90% of the shots I take so I am going to go back to it. Now to find a barrel for less than I paid for the rest of the gun......
ERIC
I use Williams Fire sights mounted on the rib on my M2. I don't like getting my head low into the shotgun and like having a rear sight to help with those long slug shots.
ArturoJ
I filed down an old 1911 hardball (taller than the Benelli) type rear sight to fit the dovetail bacause the existing Benelli sight was too low (hit about 6 inches low at 50 yards). Now hits are about 3.5 - 4 inches high at 50 and about on at 100, or at least I can hit 12 inch plates at 100 with a center hold. I like the Benelli rife sights. SHELLFISH17
MAMMO here on the board sent off his benelli rifle sighted barrel to Briley and had them install a set of remington rifle sights in their place. It looks nice and is just right for slug shooting.
