MichiganShootist
I had cataract surgery on my left eye in June and on my right eye in July. On August 3rd I had a knee replacement surgery (a partial) done on my left knee. Sunday I participated in my first match after all that....... and after no practice or shooting for months. It was just a 40+ shooter IDPA club match... but a tough one with 10 stages and over 150 rounds fired. I managed to get the second lowest score out of all shooters... running my CDP/Single Stack gun. (even though I had to take some procedurals because I couldn't get into the positions required by some stages). Hell I even beat a SSP Master:) This being able to see the target "deal" ... and being able to walk without dragging a leg...is almost like cheating. Next year should be a blast. MichiganShootist
That's right Bill. I should think of these "experiences" as Up Grades
