FranDoc
Depending upon the gun, you'll have trouble making minor with Solo and a 115gr bullet (if that's an interest). The load tables did not match (were way under) what I found in practice. There are other threads here that discuss the differences between the Solo load table and what people are actually shooting. I could barely make minor with harsh-handling loads over the recommended max and a 124gr bullet out of a 4" XD. A friend was able to make PF 130-ish with 147 gr lead/moly and a 5" CZ. Contact "SLM" for his load data on that.

bball97
Does anyone know the max load for a moly 147gr? The chart I have says: 9mm bullet weight 147 grains (doesn't specify moly) start load: 2.7 grains (775 - 850 Fps) maximum load: 3.0 grains (825 - 875 Fps) One of the guys on here said he uses 3.3 to 3.4 grains Solo 1000 with 147 grain black bullets Good luck & be careful. I have not started loading 9mm yet, but will definitely get Solo 1000 when I do. It is well liked on this forum.

The average was 905 fps. To get the same with Zero 147 JHP, I needed 3.5 gr of Solo 1000. YMMV, A.T.
LPatterson
[Drift] Asked my powder supplier about buying 8# of S-1000 for my .45 and he said he only had 25# kegs and since I only load 4.6gr I had to say no. [/drift]
