When I was a roadie for a local band back 100 years ago we had the privilege of playing with Mother's Finest as their opener at Alex Cooley's Electric Ballroom here in ATL. I had forgotten how totally hot Joyce (Kennedy) the lead singer was until I stumbled across some YouTube clips of them. She was an awesome singer and an awesome personality. She was a showman par excellence and graced many a billboard in the Atlanta area. (very good work, complete with sub-titled lyrics) I was young and when I saw her I fell in total love/lust with her!
